SIGNS ~ Everywhere Are Signs

Yesterday afternoon, I loosened the garden box soil.

This afternoon, I planted early season seeds; and onion transplants.

Just before I started planting snow-peas, I happened to glance up at the sky … and saw a cloud formation sporting a mohawk, and a hooked nose. I laughed, because it resembled my stepfather – who is a Skagit Indian (a Washington Native).

A sign the natives are getting restless – and the restlessness across this Land goes beyond the State Natives … we are living in dangerous days, in America: America, since 2009, has become a racial tinderbox: being fanned into a racial inferno with the incendiary demonrat rhetoric.

Half of America’s population is on the war path; egged on by the obamanites.

There are signs everywhere (even in the clouds, now) that we are living in dangerous days.

A face in the clouds.

When planting seeds today – I used a cupcake pan; and a short, marked bamboo stake (marked 1/8-inch to 1-inch segments).

The red markings are sign of seed depth needed for various seedings.

Finished with seeding and transplanting what could safely be placed in the garden area this afternoon, I was gathering my gardening tools to be placed into the shed … and noticed the moon showing in the warm, blue Spring sky overhead.

A clear sign it was definitely time to call it a day (as far as planting went): daylight was waning.

The moon in the late afternoon sky. 4:09 PM

As I was watering my garden boxes, and came to the halfway point … I noticed a large hole had been dug under the skirting of my home.

Then I remembered my next-door-neighbor had told me earlier that she had heard noises between our lots last night (I had too, but couldn’t figure out what it was); she had gone outside armed with a baseball bat … and saw a racoon digging in my lot rock (I have lava rock & river rock laid down). We laughed, and I didn’t think too much about it – UNTIL I saw the large hole dug out under the skirting of the back bedroom.

Sign that the gray furred bandit had staked out my home as its home.

I closed the hole up again with the dug-out-rock and mud refuse.

I didn’t know if it was still under the house … or if it had vacated and would return tonight. Either way, I didn’t want the hole wide open: anything could utilize it.

A racoon under the house is bad enough: a rat or opossum would be worse.

Oh, the joys of home ownership.

If the racoon is still under-house, it will dig itself out – just like it dug its way in … then a trap will be set for it.

I immediately started thinking of the damage the racoon could do if under the house. I am a country gal, even though I now live on the outskirts of the city; I am familiar with racoons – and I know they will not leave on their own. And if it’s a mama racoon looking for a place to give birth, the chaos and destruction will multiply.

It wasn’t funny anymore: if that masked rascal had taken up residence under my house, it could do a lot of damage … and would be a snarly freeloading vagrant hard to evict!

It can’t stay.

My mind was screaming, “BOOOOOOOOOOB!”

What would he do?

How would he handle the situation?

We have had racoons on our country properties.

We have had racoons in our country trees.

We have had racoons crossing our properties.

But we have never had a racoon under our homes.

This was an unfamiliar situation.

I needed Bob: I wanted Bob.

And Bob is permanently unavailable.

This thorny homeowner’s problem rests solely on my shoulders, now.

It was up to me to figure it out; and handle it.

I asked friends for help.

I got good suggestions: I have good friends 😊

Lean On Me song: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jrlhn1H1EWw)

I dug out the phone book and thumbed through it, looking for a local pest control company that would know how to handle a racoon issue.

I found one – and the fella who answered the call told me I did the right thing by refilling the hole. He said, “if the refill is wide open in the morning, then we know it’s residing under your house. And I will come out there and set up a trap for it, and remove it for you. You did the right thing; this way the situation can be monitored to see what action needs to be taken.” That sounds good, to me; I am sure it is under the house – it didn’t dig that big hole because it had nothing else to do last night.

It is boldly staking a claim.

And I am boldly taking action.

I want it gone before it tears up the underside of the house.

Racoons are cute, but they are trouble; they are called “bandits” for a reason that goes far beyond the mask they are born with.

I inspected the skirting around the house, and there doesn’t seem to be any damages; but if it causes damages during its nocturnal escape later tonight, my Home Owner’s Insurance should cover that.

There is never a dull moment around here …

BLESSED ~ My Double Life

Today I woke with a grateful heart, and ready to tackle the day’s tasks.

I am grateful for where I am in my life; at this moment.

I live between worlds: I live a double life.

I am rebuilding a life/home, here on Earth; and I am building a life geared towards my Home in Heaven, beyond the clouds.

I am building both lives on the foundation of my past life, simultaneously.

This morning I woke up knowing this was the day of my first date with Bob – 47 years ago … 1 hour and 2 minutes ago marked the hour. I had waited in excited anticipation for 7 PM to roll around that April 19th, so long ago. When he knocked on the door, my feet flew to answer it: and there he stood 😊 So tall. So handsome. So ready to get to know me.

I’d Like To Get To Know You Better: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pI2eofY1dow)

But instead of entertaining all those beautiful memories this morning, I quickly got out of bed. I did not want to start crying. I did not want to be poked by the sharp finger of missingness.

I knew that I would have pizza and a beer for Supper – that is what we had for our first date: that is what I would have tonight, in remembrance of the night that changed my life forever.

But, in the moment – this day, I would be thankful for the opportunity to redirect my thoughts that would bring healing into my life (physical healing is linked to spiritual balance); and I would pour all of today’s energy into prepping the garden area for this year’s garden.

For 22 months my life went thru emotional hard-hitting changes; my body suffered the effects.
I'll be working on the spiritual side of my life, this year.

After I got back from Castle Rock, I planted potatoes before tackling garden box cleanups.

I had been wanting to try this, but I really was not thinking clearly for the past 2 garden seasons – this year, I am not in a zombie frame of mind.

I am more ready to engage fully in life, again. I can think without my thoughts running off down rabbit trails and getting lost in memories.

My thoughts, this year are staying on track, and I am getting things accomplished without knee-jerk reactions.

It feels good to be me, again.

In the moment: without feeling numb.

Spud spacing.
Potatoes planted, covered with soil, & labeled; now the experiment is underway ðŸ˜‰

That done, I hauled the pea trellises out of the shed and to the garden boxes I would use them in.

Hooks made from Baling Wire to hold trellises secure against the high river winds.
I placed 4 trellises at front end - and 4 at the back end of the garden area.

Trellises in place, I started cleaning up the other garden boxes, and using my Claw garden tool to turn the soil over so it will be loose when I start setting veggie/flower transplants out.

Pulled overwintered Leeks & cleaned Leek bed up.
I cleaned up, stirred the pot soil, and planted petunias in 1 Patio Apple Tree container.
Overwintered Parsnips were pulled; I don't think I will plant more this year.
2nd patio Apple Tree container cleaned up & pretty 2-tone purple petunia planted.

The work pace I set was easy, and before long I had reached the halfway mark.

The red apple Patio Apple Tree always sets blossoms earlier than the yellow apple tree.

Apple blossoms! And I took a little break here, to visit with my next-door neighbor, Erica. Elohim really blessed me, when she moved next door. She is a delight.

And looking through the welcome blossoms to the end of the garden boxes Bob had made and set in place for me, my heart was flooded with love for my husband: and gratitude towards Elohim for blessing me with all those wonderful years with Bob.

I could reflect on those years without crying.

Living between two worlds is starting to level out: life {in the moment} is stabilizing.

This year, living between two worlds is not so hard; I am finding balance.

This year, I am deliberately avoiding the shadowy rabbit trails, and keeping my attentions on the Joy Trail.

In the last garden box, I spruced up, I caught a glimpse of a ladybug 😊

Apparently, I am on the right track in my life 😉

And if there is one … there are others.

Ladybugs are good for the garden.

By the time I reached the last garden box, I was ready to come inside and grab a couple slices of pizza, and that beer.

It was a day of gratitude.

It was a day of happy remembrance.

It was a pleasantly warm Spring day.

It was a productive day.

I am thankful.

Tomorrow, I will plant my onion sets.

SUNDAY~FUNDAY #21/Soul Food Clandestine Daytrip

This afternoon was the first Sunday~Funday of 2021 😊

But the location I visited today will not be divulged: it will remain a secret for as long as it is necessary it remain a secret.

I have a fellowship I will begin frequenting.

With the advent of barak hussain obama in 2009; and his devout demonic DC horde ushering in a hellish freakshow and murderous hatefest across America (being adopted world-wide – even by dead religious leaders), The Day is quickly arriving.

It is imperative that Christians gather together: freely, and frequently – without fear.

I saw faces – the whole face, not just eyes.

I delighted to hear voices – true sounding voices; not muffled/inaudible and garbled.

I was touched; and I was able to touch backwith joyous uninhibitedness instead of fearful restraint.

I was loved; by strangers … just because I {was}. Christians are one big family.

I was among real people – not sitting before a video recording.

I sang – and was surrounded by singing: we were breathing in and out. Unhindered.

I heard the Word – undoctored by political twaddle to tickle the ears of the wishy-washy.

I was immersed in the Spiritnot couched in by fear.

I gloried to be among honest-to-God-Christians, who were not cowering in fear … like-minded Believers who were obeying Yeshua’s command to ‘come together’ (Matthew 18:20), so that He may be among us to bless us with harmony, accountability with one another, healing, wisdom, and deeper faith.

I was blessed.

My Spirit was renewed.

My mind was refreshed.

I was prepared before I left home: I had a change of clothing, and a picnic lunch stashed in the car. After fellowship, I changed out of my skirt and into a pair of shorts and my hiking shoes; and I made an extra mileage side-trip excursion, to enjoy a picnic in a county Park (after all, this was a Sunday~Funday outing 😉).

Picnic lunch in a Park.
Bob's Igloo Cooler (the one he took to work for decades), filled with beverages and a sandwich; and Bob’s Word Search Book I am slowly working through.

My entire day was a day of unbridled fun … a Sunday Fellowship fun.

And that fun had me in a thankful frame of mind.

Thankful for the merciful grace and outpouring of love from my living God.

Thankful The Ruach Ha’Kodesh lives in me … instead of the spirit of fear that worldly-minded people feed; and breed – unleashed onto an unwary and unstable worldly-minded populace.

Thankful I have been baptized into freedom; the kind of freedom the hordes of Hell unleashed on Earth in 2009 with the rise of the obamanites, cannot take from me.

My message; and thankfulness there was no fear anywhere in my day.
A person living in fear, is not a saved person according to Gospel Scripture The Spirit of God casts out ALL fear.
A church that has closed their doors and does video services only is not a Bible-believing Church.
I do not make allowances for fear; I plan on making it to Heaven.
In Yeshua we have freedom & Heaven in our Home.

Worldy-minded people are concerned about their body: the appearance of it, the longevity of itand some people are obsessed with health and longevity to the point of living with depression and fear.

That mindset is an embarrassment to the Body of Christ.

Believers know that we are more than our bodies.

Our bodies are {jars of clay} that house the Spirit; our bodies are living temples for the indwelling Spirit of Almighty God, and in that regard we should do our best to maintain it's upkeep: but not to the point of obsessive behaviors and actions. Christians (Bible-believing Christians) know that our bodies must die if we are to obtain entrance into Heaven – whether our bodies die a fleshly death, or our bodies die during the Rapture when the flesh is shed to be replaced with a celestial body: a bodily death should not strike fear in the heart of a Christian!

I am 64 years old: I'm basically looking death in the face.

But I am not afraid.

I've lived my entire life waiting to see the face of Yeshua - whether by a natural death by the wearing out of my clay jar, or by a mystifying atom changing: it doesn't matter to me. I know that my spirit will not be bound by the flesh forever.

I am not seeking an earthly fountain of youth, as so many are chasing after.

I am aware that the hairs on my head have been counted, and my lifespan is wrapping up.

Everyone calling themselves a Christian should also have the same mindset: Earth is not our home - this life, even if it is a wonderful one - is not the life we should be clinging to.

Fear should not dictate the thoughts and movements of a Christian.

I do not make room for fear in my life.

I have never been run by fear.

I personally believe this covid thing is a divine wakeup call.

And fearmongering hysteria and vaccine mandates will not halt it.

The things that are happening under demonrat obamanite dictates have unleashed Hell on Earth.

And there is no logical reason that I (or ANY Christian) should give way to the madness barak hussain obama has unleashed, and his DC devotees try to force on the world.

I know I do not intend to buckle under and give way.

A Christian is to be more mindful of a Spiritual death; a death there is no rebounding from once the last human breath is expelled.

The body dies; the Spirit will live forever.

In Yeshua, I live-breathe-and have freedom 😊

And He blesses me with Sunday~Funday’s 😉
