ATMOSPHERE

My day was filled with {atmosphere} … from beginning to end.

I could change one atmosphere: so, I did 😉

I had had an early morning appointment in town: that ended. Permanetly. The woman had been jerking me around for two weeks - I don't like to be jerkd around. She kept telling me one thing, and doing another. She approached me again, yesterday morning ... and told me to meet her this morning ... and, it was the same scenario: I'd show, and she'd be nowhere around. And the girls there weren't authorized to pay me.

I don't know what she thinks she's up to - but I know I'm done playing.

The atmopshere got old, real fast. I stopped being nice about my time being wasted.

Do I have 'stupid' etched on my forehead; and 'kick me' taped to my back ... I THINK NOT!

I moved on down the road … and now, someone else is getting the benefit of the profits the no-show lost out on.

You snooze: you lose.

And I take my business elsewhere.

I feel that when people shine you on; they are disrespecting you. I don’t allow that.

Moving along, I thought I’d stop at the Center downtown, and play a few games of pool to relax – and shed 2 weeks of “atmosphere”.

Visualization can be very relaxing. LOL
Another change of plans.

I like the Country Deli – and lunch there, today, was just what I needed 😊

The waiter there is such a friendly fella.

As soon as he sees me come through the door, he is right next to me (relax everyone: I have grandchildren his age) – setting everything in place on my table, and running through the few “staple” meals I stick with; to ask me which one I’d like to enjoy today 😉

He’s really a sweetie. I love him like he was family.

Settling my tab and thinking about crossing the bridge over the Columbia that spans WA and OR, I was hoping that traffic wouldn’t be too set back today with the proposed restructuring of Washington Way/Industrial Way/and the bridge on-ramp.

Luck was with me: minimal demolition has taken place, and the atmosphere at the Washington Way and Industrial junction was laid back 😊

Crossing the bridge was hassle free.

I wasn’t able to get the 10-pound weights … but 8-pound weights were available, so I bought those. I can use them doubled up with the 2-pound weights I have; until I can get the 10-pounder’s.

The atmospheric atmosphere in oregon was sticky-miserable

The sky was laden with heavy gray clouds.

Scappoose's sky was gray - as far as the eye could see.

My hair was sticky, and sweaty.

It was hard to breathe: the air was so heavy.

I turned the Highlander’s air conditioner on, and kept lifting the hair off the back of my neck in an effort to cool down – I have baby fine hair, but at that moment, it felt thick and heavy like Bob’s. And Stacey’s. And Alyna’s. And Azariah’s.

I was doing my best to change, in some small way, the stifling atmosphere of the car’s interior.

The dash read 73-degrees outside. I checked the phone to see what the humidity level was. I couldn’t believe what I was reading for this time of year … while rain was falling.

The outside temperature was 73-degrees ... the humidity was 95%!

It was definitely a Rain Forest effect – and Scappoose is nowhere near a rainforest.

Driving home, the rain never let up. Sometimes it was soft impact … other times, it pelted heavily. I fiddled with the radio knob until a station came in clearly.

And wish I had just turned it off

I could not believe what I was hearing.

On a country music station, of all things!

The atmosphere coming over the airwaves was not “family friendly”; in any way, shape, or form.

Hmmm. Sounds like KUKN Country is going to the dogs ...

In the beginning, the song sounds okay – but about 1 minute into it … it gets smutty – 2 minutes into it, and God has been kicked to the curb, and it gets more sexually explicit.

The entire atmosphere of the lyrics was to glorify whoredom; even though she was claiming she “isn’t a whore”. I’m pretty certain that if your {“vagina is 4 miles wide, and everyone is welcome inside”} – you are teetering on the cusp of whoredom.

There was the glorifying of “dikes who like cock – come on inside” … and the purring of {males with vagina’s}: (an absolute pervo fantasy with no bearing in reality); with bestiality thrown into the sicko twist, too.

It is clearly NOT a “country song”: and it clearly should NOT be played on a family station.

It seems that there is no sector of society that is not being poisoned by barak hussain obama’s poisoned koolaid, and twisted twilight-zone pervo agenda.

The atmosphere of the local KUKN Country Station has changed.

Seriously changed atmosphere.

And not for the better.

Aside from that ridiculous song, the drive was enjoyable.

And coffee shacks are cropping up all over the place: I’ve noted every location 😊

Coffee Shacks are dotting the landscape between Scappoose & Rainier.
Exiting the bridge, it was weird not seeing the buildings - to the right; that used to be across the way ...
There's just a pile of rubble, there, now.
The Starbucks & Burger Bar that no longer exists.
The Car Wash structure; to the left - slated to be demolished, too.
Proposed outcome.

While I was headed home, I thought I’d get a large pizza – and freeze the bulk of it for future Suppers: I was reeling from sticker shock when the total was quoted to me.

The demonrat’s inflation is affecting the financial atmosphere on every level of life. A $15 pizza has doubled in price.

Pizza had doubled in price!

For what?

They’re down to a skeleton crew, and inside eating is cancelled, since the whole demonrat covid insanity kicked off.

And it’s “fast food”, for Pete’s sake – there’s little prep involved: basically, just dump sauce and fillings on the thawed dough-pop it in the oven-and shove it out the side wall opening. How does that equate to $34???

Plus, I noticed another chill in the atmosphere of Papa Pete’s … there is also a new sur-charge added to the tab.

And a notification of a closure – once these notices start showing, it’s only a matter of time before the building is closed.

This will be my last stop at Papa Pete’s: one more thing Bob and I enjoyed together, biting the dust in my new life.

I won't be going back.

When I got home, and hauled everything inside, I was still stuffed from the Black-N-Bleu Burger I had at Country Folks Deli, earlier; so, I divvied up the pizza … and froze it.

Biggest expenditures of the day.
8 portions in the freezer - and 1 in the 'fridge, for tomorrow's Supper.

Now, I’m going to drink a cup of hot cocoa, and curl up with this book (wrapped in MOD book cover); and listen to the rain tap-dance across the roof 😊

New Read.

I designed, and made this book cover for the Fall Bazaars I had hoped to participate it – but, masks are required to host a table … so, I said “no thanks”: and will indulge in a rare treat – enjoying one of my designs for a purely personal purpose 😉

MOD Crochet Book Cover.

The atmosphere fits.
