ST. PATRICK'S DAY 2023 ~Sleuth Sisters Day

Today was my day in Graysriver with my besties :-)

It was also St. Patrick's Day - and since I do have Irish in my DNA, I sported green all day long ;-)

Irish eyes today …

Sparkly 'Emerald Smokes' eye color w-glittery 'Cypress' accent; 'Auburn' Brow Gel; 'Deep Green' Mascara; 'Neutre Enflamme' Gel Blush; Tinted Lipbalm & 'Pink Quartz' Lipgloss.

Not getting fancy today - I'll be lifting and shifting plant-filled containers going to Linda's & Becky's houses. This thermal top gets to stay in my clothes cache.

 

Ready to hit the road; because I have Hazel eyes, the green eye color brought out the green in my eyes. I like that :-)

Before leaving home, I told Holland that I may be later than usual getting home if I had to drop the plant-filled-bins and boxes of yarn off at Linda's house - and Becky's house. I wouldn't be taking any backroad detours and I'd call him from Skamokawa (where I could get a cell signal) to let him know I was on my way home.

I arrived at Ramona's … and was surprised by going-away-giftings :-)

I'm really going to miss these gals - they were beacons of hope and open-handed friendship, when I was stumbling through life trying to find sure footing. Their sense of humor dove-tails with my own. They found a place for me in their lives, and showered me with love: I am eternally grateful.

Elohim favored me and I wasn't delayed in arriving home before dark: Linda arrived in her pickup - I was able to transfer her geranium bins and rose-filled bin from the back of my Highlander to her truck bed easy-peasy :-)

And Becky's husband Bob, arrived in their truck to pick her up … and helped me transfer her geranium bin and boxes of yarn.

I will have a few more Friday's to gather with them at Ramona's … then it will be keeping in touch via video facebook messenger chat, skype, and zoom. Not quite the same as now, but heartstrings adjust and stay connected ;-)

The girls' gifts, which will definitely be going with us across the States, will be constant reminders of Elohim's faithfulness to me.

MY TRIBE ~Sleuth Sisters/Husband

Yesterday, I spent the day with my favorite people … my sleuth sisters in Graysriver; and my husband :-)

These people came into my life - enhanced my life, and bless my life. I am greatly blessed and highly favored.

I have been waiting for my Friday get-togethers to start again: and Holland was clued in about my Friday Plans before we got married.

Thankfully, he is okay with this ;-)

Spending time with 'my girls' - who I have not seen since October '22.

As I was leaving Longview, a song came on the radio that brought to mind something Holland had told me, that dovetails with his vision about me 35 years ago. He said he had a vision of me about 15 years ago (he recognized me from his 1988 vision), in which he saw me crying; he said I was crying every day like my heart was breaking.

Holland told me that he felt my pain. He told God, "Lord, I don't want to see this anymore - she's hurting, and it's killing me." This would have been the time-frame that that Dr. Brigman told Bob that he had emphysema … and I bought our first 2 cemetery plots in Eden Valley.

My first purchase of 2 plots; I bought 3 more in July of 2019.

I had cried. A lot.

But Bob got a second diagnosis, and Dr. Brigman had been wrong. Bob lived until December 14th, 2018.

Holland is like me; we share {second sight}.

Holland {gets} me …

It is easy to believe what Holland tells me about his visions (1) they are similar to the visions I get (2) what he tells me lines up with events that have happened in my life - events he had no earthly way of knowing. I did not know Holland until October of 2022. And until he saw me walk through the church doors at Oak Point in 2022, he thought he'd missed me some place as the years passed.

I enjoyed the drive.

I enjoyed the thoughts running through my mind.

I enjoyed time spent with my sleuth sisters ;-)

I enjoyed their questions about my new life with my new husband.

I enjoyed their assessment of my newfound happiness :-)

Holland put this smile on my face - and people are noticing the happiness shine.

And when I got home, I enjoyed the margarita Holland made for me, while he cooked Supper for me - this guy is a definite keeper :-)

Today was a wonderful Shabbat: a day to enjoy all the blessings Elohim has gifted me with.

I am greatly blessed, and highly favored.

COZY MYSTERY DAY ~Shabbat

I really look forward to my Friday forays to the West End to enjoy an afternoon of sleuth sisters’ fun and laughter 😊

I was up bright and early this morning, chomping at the bit to ‘git up and go!’ And I went bearing gifts – I wanted to make sure the girls got them before the crazy weather halts our get-togethers until Spring 2023 😉

I better get the outside faucet covers on, tomorrow morning; wet and muggy. Ugh! ☹

Bearing gifts ... 4 ct. Christmas Cactuses; egg carton tipped to keep the plants from sliding and breaking; they've grown nicely from the short clipping starts.

Heron Pointe to Bradley Trailhead, crest of Beaver Creek Rd.; 25 mins via Ocean Beach Hwy & Beaver Creek Road.

Bradley Trailhead to Graysriver-WA; 32 mins via Bever Creek Rd., Elochoman Valley Road, & Ocean Beach Hwy. Hwy: it rained off & on, from Longview to the KM; light misting rainfall in Graysriver.

Baker’s Corner Deli was closed when I left Longview … and my stomach was growling when I passed through Skamokawa: I planned on stopping at the Rosburg Store and grabbing a quick corndog, before pulling in at Ramona’s in Graysriver …

My stomach was polite enough not to make angry, rude noises through the first sleuthing episode; and Becky’s homemade pizza was worth the wait! They could have passed for pizzeria pizzas – they looked identical, but tasted a whole lot better 😊

Closed! WTH ... why are all the Deli’s closing on the freaking weekend during daylight hours???

Let the sleuthing begin. LOL

The day was very enjoyable.

The pizza was a great treat.

The drive back home was peaceful, & relaxing.

Graysriver to Heron Pointe; 45 mins via Ocean Beach Hwy.

And this rainy Shabbat Evening will be infused with the warmth of Elohim’s Friendship Blessing.

Feeling the love ... these gals are great; I'm glad Elohim put them in my life.
