DELIGHTFUL DAY

Last night I got a text inviting me to a friend’s house for a visit; I readily accepted 😊

Enroute to the afternoon rendezvous, I picked up another friend, who was also wanting open-face-convo.

Spent a few hours visiting with friends today.

Great-grandbabies highlighted the convo.

Great-Grandchildren ... the joy of a long life.

Stage 3 made the visit possible.

For the moment, it almost felt normal, again.

Parting, we were planning more get-togethers.

Checking the mail at home, I opened an envelope and was happy to see a refund check for the amount I had spent in clothing the other day 😉

I was equally happy to read that the road repair along the beach thoroughfare is nearing completion.

Good!

This is a very pretty, scenic stretch of highway to the beaches in both WA & OR States.

Today was a delightful day from start to finish.

Tonight, I will top the delight off, by reading another Sackett novel 😊
