This morning we decided to take the Highlander
into snow country to see how it would handle in high country weather this time of year – it handled GREAT!
And this snowbaby got her ‘snow fix’ – TWICE
ALREADY before my birthday ;-) Previous snowy daytrip to Lake Tipsoo in
October (https://jeastofeden.blogspot.com/2017/10/snow.html)
I thank Elohim every day for my husband – HE’S
THE BEST! OX :-D
This daytrip was the beginning of the Shabbat
weekend – PERFECT!
Once we got past Longmire the snowfall started deepening.
Love, LOve, LOVE snow!
Not too deep yet, but it's welcomed by this snowbaby.
Crossing the expansive bridge spanning the glacial fed riverbed. Despite all the packed white, there was little icy topcoat.
We have been coming here for decades and don't remember ever seeing the road this snow-packed. It's not really very icy though and perhaps that’s why it hasn’t been scraped clear by the snowplow.
Usually the snow plow keeps this road snow-and-ice-free ...
Our new car did great in the snow and ice :-D Actually it handled better than the 4x's did; even the Tundra.
