HOW DID ‘WOMAN’ BECOME A DIRTY WORD?

How did the feminist movement get so skewered?

I have always identified as a feminist … NO MORE!

Feminism, by today’s standards, under the whackadoodle obamanites has become a dirty word implicating dirty minded activities; such as promoted by mentally ill transgenders advocating for “child prostitution as ‘liberatory’”… and other sexually confused {women} shouting for legalizing “sex work” – which is just another word for prostitution.

W.T.H.

FEMINISTS UNSED TO UNDERSTAND that a feminist was an actual female from birth: a vagina, ovaries, breasts; not a mentally unstable male who thinks his penis is a mistake, and that wearing makeup and wigs magically makes him a female.

FEMINISTS USED TO BELIEVE that men and women are separate beings, but are equals in qualifications (honed skills – training to meet the job requirements; thought process; ability to raise children – due to death, divorce, abandonment; physical strength – within reason, ect.), and should have equal rights: Bob and I had that kind of understanding in our relationship and marriage. Feminists understood the gender differences of male and female … true feminists even understand the need for children. A real feminist does not promote the annihilation of the male species, or the eradication of babies. Feminism does not have anything at all in common with the obamanite mental illness that has polluted all areas of life in today’s crazy-thinking-society.

FEMINISTS USED TO DENOUNCE the abusing of children, and the abuse of women in general. A true feminist would not align themselves with today’s societal mental breakdown, promoting everything they stand against!

The key point of feminism is the right of a BIOLOGICAL WOMAN (born a female in a female body) to choose what she wants to do with her life, and to have that decision respected and supported.

It appears to me that the {feminists} of today now fall into the same category as {hippies} in today’s culture; TOTALLY BOGUS, and just an excuse for bad behavior to be fast forwarded to the head of the class.

Now, in America, we have ancient perverts (including that grinning, addle-minded cadaver, slo-jo ‘brandon’) sitting in seats of our High Courts, penalizing anyone who dares to question the legalities of REAL WOMANHOOD. A Congress, that openly sides with wickedness on every side. And a questionable judge sitting in the Supreme Court of our Nation who can’t define what an actual woman is – maybe that placed obamanite is not a real woman; and it’s a sure bet she is the one that leaked the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn row vs wade (((YAY!))) … why else was she rushed through and placed?

What is being allowed to happen in America to America’s children, and ACTUAL women, is a National disgrace.

God help us …

2 CORINTHIANS ~ Chapter 10/Thursday Bible Study

The Books of Corinthians is authored by the Apostle Paul, and his traveling companion and Brother in Christ, Timothy. The setting is in Macedonia, 55 – 56 CE (common/current era timeline).

Corinth was the place where Paul met his strongest oppositions – he had many enemies there from false prophets, wishy-washy brethren, and from enemies of the Faith (hence, enemies towards him personally for being a turncoat – remember our Lord Himself called Paul out of his orthodox rabbinic office to become a devoted Follower of Yeshua).

Paul reminds the Believers in Corinth to remember that Christianity is more than being meek and humble: it is spiritual warfare – Christians, every second of every day, find themselves assaulted and in constant battle from our enemies under the influence of Lucifer and his demonic hordes. When tempted to strike back, we must always remember to respond as Yeshua did when Lucifer openly taunted, tempted, and assaulted Him: our battles and responses are not after the flesh … they are spiritual attacks by spiritual enemies designed to destroy us. We must meet that spiritual warfare with spiritual action. Press into those spiritual battles with the strengths Yeshua has given us, empowered by the Ruach Ha’Kodesh, and win the victory over Lucifer and his tactics.

The tactics Lucifer uses are pride in the hearts of men (and women), ignorance (lack of knowledge), prejudices (biases, preconceptions, bigotries, chauvinisms, partisanship, influences, distortions), beloved lusts (desires, envies, yearnings, itches), vain imaginations (paganism, fables, ancestral tales, scientific ‘facts’, narcissism), carnal reasonings and high thinking (philosophies, loop arguments, mental chaos); that have taken root in lives and polluted social life: these things are Lucifer’s strongholds in the lives of mankind – in these ways, Lucifer attempts to snare men and women, to keep them from the Gospel and to secure his possession in their hearts and claim their bodies as his own property.

Paul begs the Corinthian Believers to reconsider their ways so he does not have to enforce Church censors.

2 CORINTHIANS ~ Chapter 10

Paul's Authentication as An Apostle

“I, Paul, now appeal to you personally, by the meekness and gentleness of *Christ (Yeshua Ha’Mashiach). When I am in your midst I am meek, but when I am away from you I am boldly outspoken to you. I beg of you that when I am with you again, I shall not have to be outspoken and stern, as I fear I must be towards some of you who look upon us as working only for human satisfaction. Granted that we live in the flesh, yet we do not fight our battles according to the flesh. And the weapons we fight with are not carnal, but spiritual, and – with **Elohim’s help – powerful in overthrowing the strongholds of the ***enemy. We can overthrow the arguments and all other obstacles that are set up against the true knowledge of Elohim. We can take every thought captive and make it obey Christ. And when once you have surrendered (submitted, yielded) to Him, we are ready to punish (inflict a penalty for an offense) any disobedience (refusal to do what is required) against Him. (vv.1-6)

You look at something and judge by appearances. A man may feel sure that he belongs to Christ. Let him reflect about it and bear in mind that we also belong to Christ, even as he belongs to Him. For suppose that I boast a little too much about our authority … which the ****Lord gave us to build you up, not to pull you down … I will not be ashamed of it. (vv.7-8)

I do not want it to appear that I am trying to frighten you by my letters. They say, ‘His letters are weighty and strong, but in body he is feeble, and there is nothing to his speeches.’ But let such critics (one given to fault finding) understand this; that whatever we by letter when we are absent, that we also do when present. We do not presume to class ourselves, or even compare ourselves, with certain people who speak well of themselves, for they do not show good judgement when they measure themselves by one another, and compare themselves with one another. We are not going to make any extravagant claims. We shall keep within the limits (without going beyond the reasonable or allowable limitations) that Elohim has marked out (a specific destination, job, requirement) for us, and they reach all the way to you. (vv. 9-13)

We are not claiming too much, as though we had not come to you. The fact is, that we did come to you with the *****Gospel of Christ. We are not boasting extravagantly about the work done by others, but we do hope that as your faith increases, our influence among you may also greatly increase. We should like to go on to other lands beyond you, without having to take credit for work done in another’s mission field. As for boasting, let him who boasts do so in the Lord. For it is not the self-appointed (having assumed a position or role without the endorsement of others) man who is accepted (received, admitted; Agreed to; welcome, pleasing), but the man whom the Lord approves (to commend, to accept; to sanction officially).” (vv. 14-18)

*Christ (from the Hebrew word, Ha’Mashiach ישוע המשיח & the Greek word, Christos/khris-tos) = The Anointed, Yeshua the Messiah, in both languages.

**Elohim (from the Hebrew word, Elohim/el-o-heem & the Greek word, Theos/theh-os) = the Supreme God. Exceedingly great and mighty.

***enemy (from the Greek word, echthros/ekh-thros) = hateful, odious, hostile, adversary – esp. Lucifer; enemy, foe.

****Lord (from the Greek word, kurios/koo-ree-os) = Supreme in authority, controller; by implication a respected Title.

*****Gospel (from the Greek word, euaggelion/yoo-ang-ghel-ee-on) = a good message; glad tidings.

MORNING WALK AROUND THE LAKE

If I wake up, and there is no rain falling – and no rain forecasted in the immediate hour, I tie my hiking boots on and go for a hike 😊

This morning the weather was favorable. I chose Lake Sacajawea because I hadn’t been there in a while; and it would be colorful with the azaleas bursting out in bloom.

There weren’t many people in the Park, this morning. There is extensive renovation going on around restrooms near the foot-traffic bridge that leads to the Sacajawea & Pomp statue and Namesake Brick plaza area (https://www.oregonhikers.org/field_guide/Lake_Sacajawea_Loop_Hike); plus there is another covid mask restriction happening: people are just tired of dealing with national, and local, restrictions on their daily lives. They are either staying home in a depressed state of mind … or they are packing a lunch and going where foot traffic is pretty much nonexistent.

However, being the rebel that I am, I tend to make my own rules when it comes to personal choice: I walk where I please (on public land my tax $$$$ pay for), when I please (regardless of aimless, politically motivated mandates), and however I please (maskless) 😉

I think I shared the Park with perhaps a dozen people, walking dogs or riding bikes.

I saw two men fishing off Lion’s Island, as I walked past.

Vehicle traffic was back-to-back at the crossroad crossings. If it hadn’t been for a compassionate truck driver … in a Ford, no less 😊 … I would probably still be standing on the curb waiting for a break.

All week, kindness in regards to traffic, has come from guys in pickups: waiting for a break, so I can make a lane change – a pickup man holds traffic up 2-car-lengths, so I can scoot into the gracious opening; backing out of a parking spot – a pickup guy gives me the distance I’m going to need … while he patiently waits; this morning, standing at the 4-way-stop curb waiting for a lull in traffic so I can cross to the other side of the street to continue my Lake walk – a pickup fella stops, and smilingly waves me across. I smiled and waved back as I quickly walked past his truck and continued my walk.

Women driving pickups, do not stop: they pretend not to see … and step on the gas, avoiding any eye contact whatsoever. MPO is that eye avoidance is their guilt kicking in.

Men in cars, appear to be self-absorbed. They are usually in a hurry, and have no time for anyone but themselves – especially little fellas in low-rider cars they think make them look bigger than they are.

I am thankful for the pickup men that show some courtesy, and give this petite/fluffy old hen a break 😉

And I miss my pickup man like crazy …

Joe Diffie – ‘Pickup Man’ song:

Continuing around the lower end of the Lake Hike Trail, and along the Nichol’s Boulevard side of the Park, I dilly-dallied 😉

White fluffy-flowered hybrid Hydrangea Bush.
The yellow waterlilies are starting to bloom ...
Newly planted additions to the Park.
Flowering bush filling out, willy-nilly; the yellow flowers resemble buttercup blossoms.
Deep purple Lenten Roses.
Hybrid purple Columbine with variegated leaves.
A very nice walk around the Lake, today.

As I neared the Louisiana Street Bridge, the underside of my left foot was starting to hurt … so I cut the hike short, and backtracked to the parked Highlander. I have learned the hard way that when my soles start hurting, it’s best to stop what I am doing and give my feet a rest.

My feet are not used to the lengthy walking: we’ve had so much stinkin’ rain that has kept my feet indoors, that it will take time to build up to 4-mile hikes again, without my feet whining, “what the hell mama?

Just walked a smidgen over 2.5 miles this morning; I pointedly ignored the upper half of the Hike.

So, I gave them a break and drove them home to rest 😉

Back at home, I talked to a friend who got her new car today, and she’s happy as a clam at high tide 😉 I’m glad for her.

I finished the Angel Baby Blanket I started last night … and I’ll work up another one before bedtime. They are little, and they hardly use up time at all.

DISTRIBUTIONS DAY

Ready to slay the day's Dragons.

Today was distributions day … not only at the local Food Bank, where I help, but the things I was hoping the Caring Pregnancy Center would accept …were accepted 😊

Caring Pregnancy Center: http://www.longviewcaringpregnancycenter.com/about-us/

They accepted everything - and were over the moon with the Preemie items.
I was blessed to have Bob in my life; I want to spread his encouragements around ...
Paul Anka – ‘You’re Having My Baby’ song:
Opt for adoption over murder; abortion is a self-serving action that destroys on all levels.
It is encouraging to watch – and participate – in growth.

On this issue, I stand apart from my daughter and granddaughters (Azariah is too young to have an opinion on the matter). We will never see eye-to-eye on this topic. My stance on abortion is this: you are either for abortion … or against abortion; stating that you are pro-choice is to be FOR abortion. It’s that plain, and that simple – standing on the fence doesn’t work when it comes to murder of innocents.

ALL LIVES MATTER – that includes the unborn lives.

So, for those brave souls who actually opt to bring life into this world, I want to do what I can to help that choice be a confident and comfortable one.

After leaving the caring Pregnancy Center, I stopped at Dr. Tack’s Office, and gave generously there, too, when I ordered my prescription sunglasses … and was relieved when they said they could use the frames I wanted to use 😊

My coming sunglasses lens’s will be housed in the colorful frames Bob chose for me. HAPPY!
The frames that will be used ...

I had just enough time to grab a quick bite, before getting to the food distribution location on time 😉

I stopped at El Ranchero because I like the food – and I like the owners: two pluses 😊

I really like the look of this retro Coke machine.
I like this colorful, hand-painted, wall mural; my favorite booth.
Coke over pepsi ... yes, please!
I like the designs on these booths.
Super Nachos w-ground beef; Yum-YUM!
It never gets easy to remind people that Bob resides in Heaven, now.

The two hours spent at the Food Band locale went very quickly; and everyone was in a good mood (helpers and receivers); the sunshine was welcome and warmly soothing, and laughter/jokes/sharing flowed smoothly amongst everyone. It was a good day in the neighborhood, today.

I am only one person doing what I can to make life easier and happier for whoever, whenever, doing whatever it takes. I may not be setting the world on fire, but a spark is welcome for those who have need of kindness’s warmth 😉

Distribution of kindness is always rewarding.

When I got home, I started and finished another little 15-inch Angel Baby Blanket (I only have another Boy’s blanket to make before I can mail the box off); and I’ll end my evening by playing a few games of Jewel Quest (addictive game) before turning the lights off, and turning in – the mural at El Ranchero, earlier triggered that competition between the game and myself 😉

It’s been a busy day, today.

It’s been a rewarding day, today.

I’ll get a good night’s sleep, tonight 😊

‘SPRINGY’ ACTION

The predicted thunderstorm did not show up last night.

And all day, today, was quiet too.

We did get rain though – but not enough to keep me indoors 😉

I’ve been awful sleepy though; deep yawns, and practically sleeping on my feet. No joke.

ALL I want to do is sleep: this may be a result of being stuck indoors 25 days out of 30/31 days a month … or it could be an age-related occurrence. I’m claiming the gray clouds, overhead.

I slept in until 10 AM this morning; but I didn’t get to bed until after 3 A.M., so I didn’t feel like a lazy peel when my eyes focused on the digitized clock. Seven hours of sleep isn’t “wasting the day”.

I noticed that a clear and dry 2-hour window was available: so, I got dressed, tied my hiking boots on, and planned a short 2-mile walk before the afternoon rains arrived.

Halfway to my destination, a squirrely thought passed through my brain – and I altered my route. I have some things that I need to get around to dropping off at the Caring Pregnancy Center – but first, I needed to know how the heck to get there. That squirrely thought was prompting me to figure it out this afternoon.

So, I sprung into action 😊

I pulled over and punched the address into GPS (I’m still learning the streets of Longview). After going down several zig-zagging rabbit trails that included one-way streets, and four-way stops where everyone engaged in ‘blind man’s bluff’ and ‘chicken’ maneuvers, I finally “arrived” at the building.

Caring Pregnancy Center.

Pulling into the old Medical Strip Mall parking lot, I knew where I was (by the surrounding landmarks), and was shaking my head and wondering why GPS had taken me on such a convoluted zig-zag route – it would have been much easier to lead me straight through Nichols Boulevard onto Tennant Way, and hang a left at 11th street. That is the route I will take next time: it is much simpler for me, and will take me right to the building without all the overhead stop lights the GPS route weaved me through. Landmarks are recognizable; addresses throw me.

Backtracking, and still hoping to get my walk in, my attention was snagged again. By a vehicle in front of me – with a sentiment I understand all too well.

A recognizable sentiment ...

Passing Safeway on Ocean Beach, I had noticed earlier that there appeared to be intensive work happening there. Since this is the place, I use to refuel, I thought I’d nip in there and ask what is going on (this was a pre-planned side excursion: no squirrel involved 😉). I was told that the Fueling Station is undergoing a replacement of the underground fuel wells; and an upgrade on the pumps. Estimation time of completion is two weeks.

Guess I’ll be gassing up elsewhere for the next month.

Safeway Fuel Station is getting an overhaul.

When I got back home, the rain was still holding off, so I decided to pull my over-wintered Geraniums out of their bins and get them prepped for display on the front steps/front porch. I had to replace six plants – that’s why I always keep spare plants, over-wintered in the house, on hand 😊

Pulled the geraniums out of storage and got them cleaned up & set in place.

My Bunny Ear Cactus (I’d always called it a Teddy Bear) needed repotting, too: so, I did that after the Geraniums were set in place.

I got my cactus plant when we moved back to Longview, 27 years ago. We were enjoying a Sunday drive along Westside Highway and I noticed a Garage sale sign … so Bob pulled over and I hopped out of our 4x truck. I’m a sucker for terra cotta pots; so, when I saw the dried-up cactus in the pot that caught my eye (it was so dried up from neglect, it was brown and dead-looking), I asked the woman how much she wanted for the pot. She said, “you can have it for free: the plant’s dead.” I snapped that pot right up 😉 And, just to see what would happen, I watered that cactus every time the soil looked like it needed a drink. After a while I noticed life was fleshing the pads out, so I babied it back to life.

The original cactus plant thrived, and blossomed in about a 15-year-timeframe from the time I brought it home; a cute little yellow flower blossom 😊

My Bunny Ear Cactus blossomed; Aug. 3rd, 2009!
Bunny Ear Cactus bloom 15 years in the making - Aug. 3rd, 2009

I transplanted the cactus into a large clay pot, and eventually it grew to be a sizable 2-foot plant, with a 4-foot spread that I babied and hauled with a hand dolly, from the front yard to the garage every Fall to over-winter in safety – but it never blossomed again. A few days before we moved here, to Heron Pointe in 2017, I gifted it to the lady across the street who asked me what I was going to do with it. She was excited to get it. I hope it is still thriving.

But before I let her husband haul it away, I snipped a hand-sized chunk off to bring here, with me. It has flourished these four years here, but it has outgrown its pot … so, this afternoon, I upended it, loosened its roots, and repotted it in a roomier pot. I hope it blooms this year. A few pads fell off, so I potted those up, too 😉

I reshaped my Bunny Ear Cactus, and transplanted the clipped pads.

I also called Dr. Tack’s Office and asked to make an appointment for prescription sunglasses. I was told that I didn’t need an appointment, since they already did an eye exam for the every-day-glasses I am now wearing. She quoted me the price of polarized lens and frames – then she said, “if you have a specific frame you’d like to use instead, we could accommodate that.” As soon as I heard that … I sprung on the suggestion: I knew I’d use the glasses frame that Bob inadvertently chose for me four years ago 😊

I like them.

They fit my personality.

And I was keeping them anyway – I may as well utilize them, instead of keeping them in a drawer 😉

Aren’t they cute?

They're colorful ... and are special to me.

Now, I’m going to head down the hallway to bed, tomorrow is Food Distribution Day.
