Today is a National Day to celebrate the Gorgeous Grandma’s!
Every Grandma is a gorgeous woman.
Grandma’s come in every size, shape, appearance, and mindset.
But a beautifully gorgeous woman, is a woman whose Husband is The Lord: “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears (respects, honors, serves out of love) the Lord is to be praised” – Proverbs 31:30.
I have not seen, or spoken to, my grandchildren in a very long time … but they are always in my thoughts, on my heart, and in my prayers. All of them.
I love them.
And I like knowing Bob’s DNA is still alive – every one of them carry a piece of him in the form of their bodies = the way they stand, gesture – in the shape of their feet or hands; hair = color/texture; facial features = cheekbones, nose, lips, cleft chin; eyes = in shape or color; brain = way they think and work out concepts; even the way the thought process misfires, occasionally; voice = tone, soft and gentle – even when frustrated; spirit = for the most part, compassionate.
