BIL Kerry just came by with a big bag of fresh
picked Asian Pears from his property.
Aren’t they beauts?
And they taste as good as they look too ;-)
We’ll keep a few out to eat fresh … and I’ll pare,
cut, and freeze the rest for Pear Pies this Winter. ((((YUMMY!!!!)))) :-)
I had a tried-and-true recipe on hand for Pear
Pie that I have used for years, but I sent the Recipe Book it was in home with
my granddaughter the other day, so I had to track this one down online. It’s
basically the same. If you have never eaten a pear pie before, you have been
missing a taste-bud delight ;-)
