Still my thoughts about Shabbat 😊

Shabbat, on this day: (https://jeastofeden.blogspot.com/2021/05/shabbat-night-at-home-yeshua-is-center.html)
My life has changed so much since December 2018. I remarried January 7th, 2023 ... we sold the house, sold our vehicles - and bought a new 4x, a puppy, & a 5th Wheel to travel the mainland States and experience life in the slow lane. As always I record e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. happening in my life: I will share lots of pics & vids of our USA travels: I hope you enjoy our Blog.
Still my thoughts about Shabbat 😊
A repost from last year’s
Shabbat, on this day: (https://jeastofeden.blogspot.com/2021/05/shabbat-night-at-home-yeshua-is-center.html)
Today was going to be busy.
Today would sparkle all day
long 😉
Duct cleaning was scheduled for
2 P.M. (the house would need to be sparkling clean before I turned on for
the night); but before the dust got stirred up, I had time to drive out to
Lexington 😊
I laughed when I caught
sight of myself in the mirror: my gray jeggings and black leather, knee-high
boots reminded me the pants and boots Paul Revere and The Raiders wore in their
early career days (I told yu’all a few days back, that everything I do,
think, and say relates in some way to a song) – of course, none of those
high-stepping fellas resembled the chubby 65-year-old Solo Lobo looking back at
me from the floor-length mirror.
And that memory of the
Raiders in their skinny pants, jarred another memory of Bob. I liked Paul Revere
and the Raiders’ music … and local bands would often play one or two of their songs
before the evening ended; when we went out on the town. When Bob was feeling
real good, he’d take his dance steps in the direction of Fang; and I’d be laughing
so hard at Bob’s clowning, that dancing was momentarily forgotten 😉
I sparkled – and I was
still laughing – when I walked out the door.
Having fun is
fun!
I left the Lexington
get-together early because I wanted to stop at the grocery store before the Power
Vac guys arrived: I have been invited to spend Mother’s Day afternoon with
friends: I accepted, this year 😊
And I want to contribute something
to the meal.
While standing in line,
waiting to be checked out, I saw an article headline that had me quietly laughing.
I don’t think I have noticeable beauty – but I do know that I have noticeable
swagger 😉 I’ve aways had a healthy sense of self. I am
comfortable in my own skin.
And I’m not lost in a fog
anymore. Lately, there is a definite swaggering pep to my step. LOL
Just as I was sliding the
holiday contributions into the ‘fridge, I got a text that the Power Vac fells
were on their way.
I left, and let them do their
thing; I drove to Willow Grove County Park and ended up finishing the Word
Puzzle Book Bob had started 3¼ years ago. That was a sad moment, because I
knew when the last search was completed, the book would be destined for the garbage
can ☹
Just as I was wrapping up the
Word Search Book, the fellas called to tell me they had finished the job.
Before I paid him, he walked through the house with me, and said, “Your
ducts were really pretty clean – but this that you see on the floor, is dryer
lint. We cleaned the dryer vent too, but this stuff just cycled all through the
house.”
I looked at the scattered
lint, and thought, ‘the house will just have to wait for its sparkle
cleanup, until after I have eaten Supper’.
At least, I know the furnace/air-conditioning
ducts are clean for the next three years.
I’ll have to figure out a
way to clean the dryer lint behind the dryer without buying a vacuum cleaner: I
don’t need a vacuum clear, other than to suck up dryer lint.
I sparkled today.
The atmosphere of the
Lexington get-together was loaded with sparkling personalities and interesting
convo.
The house is now sparkling
clean … and I’m shuffling off to Buffalo 😉
1. Most of our life is spent chasing false ideals: the day you realize that and enjoy life in the present, is the day you really start to live.
2. You really, truly cannot please all of the people all of the time. Please yourself first and your loved ones second … everyone else is busy pleasing themselves anyway, trust me.
3. Fighting the aging process is like trying to catch the wind. Go with it, enjoy it. Your body is changing, but it always has been since the moment of conception. Don’t waste time trying to reverse that process of change – instead change your mindset to see the beauty in the new, immerging, you.
4. Nobody is perfect and nobody is truly happy with their lot in Life: when that sinks in, you are free of comparison and free of judgement. It’s truly liberating.
5. No one really sees what you do right, but everyone sees what you do wrong; when that becomes clear to you, you will start doing things for the right reason and you will start having so much more fun.
6. You will regret the years you spent berating your looks, the sooner you can make peace with the vessel your soul lives in, the better. Your body is amazing and important but it does not define you.
7. Your health is obviously important … but stress, fear and worry are far more damaging than any delicious food or drink you may deny yourself. Happiness and peace are the best medicine.
8. Who will remember you and for what, become important factors as you age. Your love and your wisdom will live on far longer than any material thing you can pass down. Tell your stories, they can travel farther than you can imagine.
9. We are not here for long, but if you are living against the wind it can feel like a life-sentence. Life should not feel like a chore, it should feel like an adventure.
10. Always, always, drink the good Cognac … and use the things you
keep stored away for ‘best’ times. Tomorrow is guaranteed to no one. Today is a
gift that’s why we call it the present. Eat, Drink & Be Merry 😊
Well ...
I've never been {broken}, but I have had experiences in life that has hurt.
I've been 'breaking the cycle' every day for 54 years - the cycle is an
ongoing thing - so the breaking must also be an ongoing thing.
The early Church was constantly being persecuted; they were in poor straits (desperate need of basic comforts); the Believers depended upon each other to survive – housing, food, clothing, jobs., ect.
In Paul’s 2 Corinthian messages to the Believers, he gives praiseworthy encouragement while explaining the benefits and opportunities tied to generous giving. In last week’s message, Paul made it clear that givers were not to give beyond their means (ex: do not impoverish themselves for the sake of giving comfort to others) – but, he also encourages the givers to give what they comfortably can in regards to helping their fellow members.
Today’s study, highlights a connection between giving … and receiving … Elohim’s abundant blessings. The message today, also highlights that giving is to be done as a Christlike act of grace: Elohim does not intend our giving to be done as a legalistic obligation; rather it should be an instinctive giving, motivated by a willing and cheerful heart.
In this letter to the Corinthian Believers, Paul quotes from Psalm 112 to make the point that Elohim is always meeting the needs of the downtrodden.

2 CORINTHIANS ~ Chapter 9
Christian Giving, a Joy to the Giver
"It may seem a waste of time for me to write to you about the offering for the Christian Brethren. I know about your readiness, and I proudly told about you to the Macedonians, saying that Greece (Achaia) has been prepared since last year, and most of them were stirred by your zeal. I have, nevertheless, sent the brethren, so that our confidences in you may not prove to be misplaced, and so that you may be ready, even as I said you were. Otherwise, if some Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we shall be put to shame – and you, too, of course – for having been so confident. That is why I thought it necessary to ask these brethren to go to you ahead of me, and to take up beforehand this offering that you had promised, and thus it would be a willing gift and not a begrudged obligation. (vv. 1-5)
Let me add this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, but he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Let each one give as he has purposed in his heart; not with reluctance nor under compulsion (pressure, coercion, duress, force), for *Elohim loves a cheerful (optimistic, positive, happy, smiling) giver. In return, God is able to give you every blessing in rich measure, so that you may always have all you need in every week, and so that you may have abundantly for every good work. So Scripture says, “Elohim scatters abroad and gives to the poor; His righteousness lasts forever.” (vv.6-9)
God Honors a Faithful **Stewardship
And Elohim, Who supplies the sower with seed and with bread to eat, will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and He will increase the fruits of your righteous acts! You will be enriched in every way, toward greater generosity, too, and so through us men will thank Elohim for it. This service (help, assistance, benefit, advantage, good turn), then, is not limited to supplying the wants of fellow-saints, but it also overflows in a tide of thanksgiving to Elohim. In the way that you stand the test of this service – by your obedience, by your acceptance of the Gospel of Christ, and by the liberality of your contribution in behalf of them and of all others – just so are you giving honor to Elohim. Then they in turn will long for you and pray for you, on account of the ***surpassing (outshining, transcending) ****grace (kindness, favor, mercy, compassion) that Elohim has given you. Now, thanks be to Elohim for this free gift, more precious than words can tell!" (vv. 10-15)
*Elohim (from the Hebrew word, el-o-heem) = the Supreme God. Exceedingly great and mighty
**Stewardship = is the act of making wise use of resources; recognizing that everything we have, and everything we are is a gift from Elohim – and being grateful and generous with those gifts.

This is MY Blog –
I do not apologize for anything I post on MY Blog.
If you are offended … move on.
My hope is that
roe vs wade will be overturned and never revived again: I do not apologize.
I had a hair trim
appointment this afternoon, in Castle Rock; I drove the long route. Two things happened
during that country drive: my shoes were pinching my feet so bad, I eventually
removed them and drove in stocking feet – and I heard on the radio; that roe vs
wade stands a good chance of being booted out of the Supreme Court’s realm: and
there is a very high expectation that the obamanite reign of lunacy is about to
end with Primary and National Election Voter’s Returns.
Crazy nancy, and dementia
boy joe, are blaming President Trump for the overturn of roe vs wade …
obviously they have not been paying attention to The People – this has been a
loooooong time coming; and The People have loooooooong said they want that
people’s choice taken out of the Supreme Court’s hands: roe vs wade has never
been a Law, it has always been a choice. And a disastrous one, at
that.
Not content to murder babies
in the womb, that spawn of Hell barak hussain obama, encouraged babies born
alive to be left to die – without the comfort of human touch: just left on
a table to be ignored, starved, dehydrated, and abandoned. Horrific death in
womb abortions … and horrific deaths outside the womb.
After Birth
{Abortions} – Why Should The Baby Live? (https://jme.bmj.com/content/39/5/261)
The moralless demonrats have
shoved infanticide down American throats for 49 years: wholesale murder of
innocent babies (the unrepentant hallmark cause of the demonrats) is a
blight and a shame on America. I’m glad it’s about to come to a screeching
halt.
The obama-biden
coup is so bad, that even the kool-aid drinking demonrats want nothing more to
do with any of it.
We, The People, can only
hope that sanity will rule the Day, again.
Trump-backed
Candidates That Won Tuesday’s Primaries: (https://www.politico.com/news/2022/05/04/trump-backed-candidates-that-won-ohio-indiana-primaries-00029645)
As I was parking the
Highlander at home, again, the talking head on the radio was predicting rain
tonight at midnight … and through Saturday. I decided to change my shirt,
switch my shoes out, and plant those tomato plants I bought weeks ago.
But before I did any of
that, I threw those feet-pinching shoes in the garbage. They were the right
size, and they fit – but the buckle design was torture on the feet; I couldn’t
in all good conscience pass them onto a thrift store.
I had just gotten back
inside the house and kicked my shoes off, when I was invited to join friends
out Coal Creek Road. So, I tied my shoes back on, and spent an enjoyable 3
hours enjoying the peaceful quiet of country life, good friends, easy convo …
and agreed to spend Mother’s Day with them. They are good friends. They do not
want me to be alone on a family day. I am truly blessed.
When we hugged and said our
goodbyes, I was sent home with a bouquet of lilacs. I like lilacs, and always had
at least one lilac planted (2 in Cathlamet; 1 white & 1 purple) at
every house we bought, and lived in, after we left Cathlamet in 1993. But I do
not think I will have a lilac planted here.
Being gifted with the
bouquet was a thoughtful and loving thing 😊 And I cut
it down quite a bit when I got home, so that the scent does not overwhelm my asthmatic
lungs.
The hope is that I can keep
it around until it fades 😉
