MISTY MONDAY

I had to drive into town this morning to buy a postage stamp for my garden seed order; and to buy a skein of yarn to finish the lapghan I’m crafting as I design it – I won’t use the whole skein, but I can use the remaining yarn in another project 😉

It was misting. The street was damp, but not slick. I drove the backstreet into town to avoid the tire-eater steel plates across the highway.

Tire eater steel plates across highway at Baker's Corner; Ocean Beach Highway.
Steel plate bolts are literally pulling out of the highway ... and will puncture tires.

As I drove Pacific Way, I was hoping the mist would fade away as time slid away, and I could have a reasonably dry 2-mile-walk along the dike (I’m into a size smaller pair of jeans today – whoop-whoop!) …

… so, I drove to JoAnne’s first to get that skein of yarn; then backtracked to 30th, stopping along the route to make an exam appointment (they can’t get me in until April); and top off the gas tank.

It was still misting as I nosed the Highlander for the Post office.

When I got to the Post office and asked for a stamp – I thought the teller misunderstood me; so, I repeated, “I only need one stamp”; he said. “That will be 58 cents.”

58 cents for one stamp – that is robbery.

But I want those seeds I’ve chosen and ordered: gardening is a full-body workout, and my food is my medicine (I deliberately choose medicinally beneficial food sources).

And, if I’m being totally honest, I like it when I hear, “You are looking good for someone your age” 😊

I’m not embarrassed to say … or to have others know … that I am 65 years old. And I agree – I do look fairly good for someone my age: I’m not a raving beauty, but I’m not a haggish looking crone, either 😉

Medicinal foods and daily exercises keep the whole body healthy, and puts pep in the step; so, I make sure to eat healthy (to keep body and brain functioning well) and to get out for a daily walk (fresh air, limber joints, and cartilage repair).

I’m also eating Supper later in the evening – I know that flies in the face of {scientific data}, but if I eat around 5 or 6 PM … I’m hungry again, and looking for a snack around 8 or 9 PM. So, I eat around 7 PM now. That myth about “drinking water curbs the hunger” is BS; all drinking 8+ cups of water, does for me, is make my stomach feel sloshy: a water-filled stomach will still demand something substantial to fill it, and stave off the late evening hunger prods (mine does anyway); so, I do what is best for ME – no one else is me … my stomach is my own. My stomach does not recognize general scientific hypothesis geared towards curbing a generalized public’s eating habits. I watch calorie intake. I exercise. I eat later in the evening. THIS is what works for ME.

I like the Pacific Way Trail because even though it is “in town”, it is countrified enough (ducks, deer, herons, muskrats, songbirds, turtles, otters, frogs, horses, ect.) to satisfy my country girl heart 😊

Before I knew it, the turn-around point of my 2-mile morning walk had come sooner than expected: I didn’t feel that I had walked that distance that quickly, at all!

I guess time flew 😊

Those yellow road signs are posted on 38th Avenue: time to backtrack to the parking lot on 30th.
This French Drain adds a pleasant background sound.
The 'Honeycomb School' (Mint Valley Elementary on 38th) playground is quiet; recess is at noon, not 10 AM.

The morning was still misty with foggy dampness – but I walked my morning walk anyway: it wasn’t actually raining. My coat got damp, but it didn’t get soaked.

Driving towards home, on Pacific Way highway, I was nearly clipped by a flatbed truck coming around a blind bend of the road … dangerously hogging my side of the roadway.

Maybe a punctured tire driving the main highway, would have been a better gamble.

Stoner drivers are making WA State roads unsafe.

These close calls seem to be happening more and more frequently, now that there is a pot store on every corner of every city block.

When I got back home, I ate a tasty salad with diced duck eggs added to it; and worked out with my new kettlebell hand weight – I like it 😊

KILLER DEER

Apparently, the wildlife did not get the “mask up or be damned!”; and the “get vaccinated or you will kill all of civilization!” mandates memos … they must be Christian republicans 😉

Unmasked and unvaxxed are labeled killers by biden: https://www.azcentral.com/story/opinion/op-ed/ej-montini/2021/07/19/president-joe-biden-right-say-anti-vaccine-proponents-killing-people/8009522002/ns

Unmasked and unvaxxed are labeled killers by Inslee: ALL REFERENCES TO insleeze’s STATEMENTS ON THIS ISSUE HAVE BEEN SCRUBBED FROM THE WEB because he is eyeing the White House, and this would be ‘bad press’: BUT he SAID it.

I wonder how the obamanite puppets, like biden & insleeze are going to {herd} these infected “killers!” who wiggle their noses and tails at them; and prance off into the sunset without a thought at all towards either stolen Office.

WHOOPLESS WHOOPIE NEEDS TO SHUT HER RACIST PIE-HOLE AND DISAPPEAR

THIS!

Racist whoopie saying holocaust “was not about race”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ukn6xiduz4U

This is WHY the whole obamanite blm agenda is WRONG.

Whoopless whoopie only sees skin color ... when it only applies to black people. In her own words: {{‘As a black person I think of race as being something that I can see' ... the Holocaust was not about race - the Nazis 'had to do the work' because 'you couldn't tell who was Jewish ... the Holocaust was 'not about race' because it was white people killing white people"}}

Whoopless whoopie is not only ignorant, SHE IS A BONAFIED RACIST. She honestly believes it's okay to wholesale murder Jews because they are considered white, and you couldn't tell by their skin color that they were otherwise.

1) White is NOT a legit skin color.

2) Jews are NOT "white" - they have olive toned skin that can appear to be Caucasian.

My stepfather was Skagit Indian: and his skin tone was “whiter” than mine. My BIL is Cayuse Indian, and his skin color is also “white”. My grandson-in-law is Native American, and his skin color is “white”. I have a friend, who is Cowlitz Indian – and she is “white” toned; another friend is Cherokee Indian, and her skin is “white”: I never saw so many “white” Indians, until I moved to WA State in 1966. Their facial features and physical stature is what defines them as Native Americans … their skin color does not define them.

3) Whoopless whoopie does recognize black on black hate crime; but she apparently has no fucking problem with {identifying} what SHE CONSIDERS a "white on white crime" - and boldly stating that that should be acceptable.

What the actual fuck.

4) Who the Hell is whoopie to DECIDE who gets to live or die!

Then she apologizes for "misspeaking".

APOLOGY FALLS SHORT; and is not accepted. There is no {save} with that backhanded ‘apology’ – she is using her skin color to hide behind: the apology is meaningless.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ha2J3lv1ksQ & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmXUoJ_Oh0M

So, if – according to self-retarded whoopi’s view of “race”, hate crimes are not about race but about man’s capability for inhumanity” … that cancels the obamanite blm agenda she embraces – and directly goes against the obamanite demonrat black-skinned-race-based school curriculums (that make white kids/white businesses apologize to black kids/people for their skin color) being shoved down American throats.

I suppose we can thank whoopie for making that distinctive illumination – no more race theory brainwashing in schools or corporate meetings will be allowed, thanks to whoopie’s {apology}.

She needs to apologize for fucking breathing – then she needs to go hide herself in her black obamanite toned cave.

ALARMED ~ But, Not Fearful

A 2:45 AM text woke me up.

The text alarmed me … and I pushed fear out of my immediate environment.

Brain surgery is dicey; this is alarming.

The rest of the texting did not end on a good note; Sara’s mother (my youngest sister) is not being rational, on any level. This situation is not about anyone else, no matter who they are: it is about Sara - period.

I am glad Sara's mother reached out to me – that she reached out at all tells me how scared she is; but I didn’t feel like butting heads at 3 AM, so I responded to the last self-absorbed text by shutting the phone down; and going back to sleep.

Sometimes the best response is no response.

Seven hours later I woke up crying.

I miss Bob; especially in situations like this one. I miss his soft, soothing voice. I miss his long arms reaching out and pulling me into his chest, in a big bear hug while he kissed the top of my head. I miss his large, comforting hand, reaching out and enveloping my small hand with an assuring squeeze that told me her shared my concern; and felt my feels.

As my eyes started focusing in the morning filtered light, my thoughts also turned to thinking of Sara: alone, in a Nevadan hospital. In isolation. Scared with a life-altering surgery hanging over her head.

When I talked to Sara a few days ago, she was scared – but also being brave: she was considering her situation rationally, and making logical decisions.

I indulged the tears for a few minutes … then went for a drive. Sitting at home crying won’t change the situation. Rehashing the AM text wouldn’t help anything either. Driving doesn’t change the situation either – but driving relaxes me, and gets me out of my head: spinning wheels on pavement is better for me than spinning mental wheels.

I know Elohim is in control, no matter how dire situations are: He has the final say.

And He gives rest in times of unrest.

BECAUSE IT’S MY LIFE

I had coffee time in Lexington with friends this morning; there was laughter and war stories (aka, wondering how we all survived the 60’s & 70’s 😉).

It was a fun 2½ hours 😊

I enjoy my coffee time in Naselle, when I can get there; but I’ve been asking Elohim to open up some local friendships that are more than a passing nod now and then: this coffee time I shared today, is a weekly thing – and that is a good thing. A gathering of friends – old and new – that enjoy getting together.

I’m glad I was invited.

I’m glad I went.

I might do this more often.

I'm building "community".

Lexington is growing in leaps and bounds; and West Side Highway will be getting busier once that building complex, now under construction, is finished. Then I went walking along the dike in Lexington’s Riverside Park … and on to Castle Rock to grab some salads from the grocery store there: I like the salads, and they are not available in Longview.

Commissioners Approve Apartment Building Construction in Lexington: https://tdn.com/news/local/cowlitz-county-commissioners-approve-preliminary-plat-for-47-lot-subdivision-in-lexington/article_89994c52-081e-5f83-ab27-52e0074105dd.html

Walking in the sunshine was great … walking through the overshadow of the trees, was cold.

Icy afternoon walk in Riverside Park, Lexington.
Lexington Bridge to Pleasant Hill.
Wreck at Castle Rock’s 4-Corners 4-way Stop … apparently someone did not stop; I took another route home.

Heading back over Delameter Road, towards home, the talking heads using air time were discussing insleeze’s recent power grab …

Delameter Road, Castle Rock-WA
insleeze is passing a law that makes it illegal to question Election’s outcomes.

insleeze is following obamanite demonrat Plan as directed: https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/politics/gov-jay-inslee-to-support-bill-to-make-lies-by-elected-officials-candidates-about-election-results-a-gross-misdemeanor/

I Can’t Hear What he’s Saying: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScfUfsUlGro

The obamanite demonrats just don’t get it – they are brainwashed lemmings hopeless following each other over the cliff.

They can’t control the way people think – even though they are doing all they can to accomplish that mindset; but they are failing with logical thinking people.

They can’t control what people speak – no matter how many {laws} they pass to subvert The People: The People will not go silently into the night.

They can’t control themselves – who the hell are they to think they can control me?

I laughed at the audacity of the power hungry.

Because it’s MY life.

I thumbed my nose at the obamanite demonrat ‘politically correct’ society mandates.

Because it’s MY life.

I turned the radio off … and enjoyed the rest of the drive home. It’s my life, and even though DC is forcing communism down our throats … we still have the freedom to turn the annoying government BS off.

Because it’s MY life.

It was a beautiful day, and the mountains were showing off 😉

There was a brief halt along the way as a working road crew held traffic up for a bit on Coal Creek Road – but the halt time was blessedly brief.

Aside from the insleeze ridiculousness, the day out was very enjoyable 😊
