FORGIVENESS

It’s mid-week, and so far … it’s been a good week 😊

I’ve spent the last four days this week with friends.

Driving Delameter Road to Castle Rock this morning.
Goal - 10 lb. weights in each hand this time next week ...

Yesterday, I had brunch with a friend from Naselle – we talked for four hours 😉

And, I am noticing that the topic among all my friends is pretty much the same topic. Some are Christian friends; some are not. Some are married, some are not. Some are widowed, some are not. Some are new friends, some are not … but the topic rarely deviates.

I don’t mind.

We are friends: we lend friendly ears.

Sometimes insight is shared.

And sometimes, silence is golden.

The topic may be the same among all – but the way it is dealt with is not always the same among all.

Yesterday, insight was solicited.

The topic was forgiveness.

This I know something about 😉

I believe that forgiveness can only come from a heart that is willing to step aside, and let Elohei work in all the lives involved.

And I can only speak from my personal experience about the freedom forgiveness gives.

Sometimes forgiveness is hard to give when a hurt has purposefully been done with malicious intent – but it is necessary for personal peace.

Sometimes forgiveness is not accepted or returned; forgive anyway – for your own well-being.

Forgiveness is not an optional thing when one is claiming to be a Christian – it’s a requirement, and an obligation. Yeshua made forgiveness a fixed feature of a Christian life.

I felt, when we hugged and parted ways, that we had both benefitted from that four-hour coffee/chit chat 😊

I know that plans were made to get together more frequently.

If we could forgive ourselves, we wouldn't need Yeshua - forgiveness only comes through Him.
The most intense memory Lucifer will weld is memories about our parenting. I don't allow that.
My Past is behind me - and I don't allow anyone to judge me for it. It's over - I've moved on.
I parented for my children's safety - I won't apologize for that. Any fault in that parenting has been forgiven, if it needed to be.
My job was to parent ... I would not be disrespected by either child. That upset them.
As a parent, we do all we can to keep our children safe - but sometimes, the child is rebellious and chooses to live life in harm's way.
Grown children have got to accept responsibility for their own lives. And parents have got to forgive their irresponsible children.
The world's ways are not a Christian's way ... and as Christians, we will be persecuted - we have to forgive 70 x 7. Constantly.
Lucifer will use every memory in our mind to hamstring us ... IF we allow it.
As Believers, we have been forgiven. Forever. The Past has no power over us.
Be careful when sharing past memories, that you are not snared by Lucifer's wiles; he lies in wait for easy prey to prey on.

THE 'BOMB' BOMBED OUT,

I woke up this morning to the alarm clock buzzing – I hit the snooze button, and considered ignoring it completely.

Today was exercise day in Castle Rock … and I really didn’t want to deal with backroad deadfall debris on my way there.

I didn’t even consider the freeway.

Sleeping another two hours really looked appealing 😉

However, half an hour later, I was hopelessly awake – and my brain was prodding me to get up, get dressed, and hit the road.

So, I washed my hair … and looked out the front window; it was a dark dawn, but it was light enough to see that the predicted {horrifically devastating} storm had passed my neck of the woods, without leaving damages in its media-hyped wake.

The 'bomb storm' was pretty mellow here – 7:30 AM view out my front window.

Outside, there was no evidence – other than one lonely sprig of leaf cluster torn off a branch in breathy haste as the storm passed by.

Still, sliding into the driver’s seat, I still did not feel motivated.

It was cold.

It was wet.

I was sleepy: despite being wide awake.

I doubted coffee would jump start my slumping ambition.

I knew that I was procrastinating because I just wasn’t feeling “the mental push”: I’ve dropped a pant size, and am feeling confident – and complacent.

I also recognize that that complacency is weak link to the goal I am aiming for.

It was time to spark the ignition switch, and shift mental gears 😉

calimexarabia does not represent ALL of the PNW; it's a very SMALL portion of the PNW.
Lexington from Heron Pointe via WA-411 N; over Laurel Rd-Nevada Drive-Westside Highway. 18 mins.

Passing over Nevada Drive, the radio announced that an American Court has declared, and passed into a ridiculous Law, that hippopotamuses are people!

I wasn’t surprised: I was instantly angered.

new york, years ago, passed into Law that chimpanzees are human.

And yet, the same morons that believe that animals should be elevated to human being status … claim a human baby is “just pond scum, unworthy of life.”

Clearly these morons are not functioning with a brain that has all cylinders firing: there's an obvious, and serious misfiring happening between soul and spirit – their hearts are dead, and their gray matter has turned to poisonous mush.

It does not good to argue the point with them: they have seriously retarded themselves … and no longer comprehend logical facts.

And it is bad form to argue with the mentally impaired.

Best to leave that to God’s Spirit; He knows best how to deal with them, and grab their attention.

Another example of demonrat insanity - they've lost ALL contact with reality.

When I reached Lexington, I had to skirt around some twiggy branches strewn across Westside Highway; they were few and scrawny – not much to worry about.

Leaving Lexington & Westside Highway, and entering Ostrander-Bond Road.
Bond Road from Ostrander; 7 mins.
Bond Road was pretty clean all the way through ...

Driving along Bond Road, nearing Castle Rock at the Bond-Huntington Ave. S junction, I got hit with two wind gusts; but they weren’t too worrisome – just two quick short Autumn breaths of wind that faded as quickly as they arrived. There were some skimpy twigs here and there on the roadway, but they weren’t serious obstacles … and they were easy to avoid.

Castle Rock from Bond Road; via Bond Road - 5 mins.
2 short gusts of winds against the driver's side of the Highlander - but, that was 'it'; Bond Rd.

Passing under the freeway overpass, and entering Castle Rock, it was obvious that the only thing littering that little town was the fallen leaves that had been shaken and blown off the trees, lining the road.

The only 'storm' evidence in Castle Rock was leaf litter shaken from the tree limbs; a golden carpet spread lavishly.

Once class got underway, I was glad I decided to tough it out and go 😊

Everyone was in high spirits cracking jokes, teasing each other, enjoying the exercise paces, and just enjoying time out and about.

The time passed quickly.

As I was leaving the building to walk to the Highlander, a gust of wind whisked the door open, slamming against the wall; before circling around, and wrapping itself around me to gently, but firmly, push me forward.

I was glad I had worn my heavy coat 😉

A little boost ...

I decided to head home over Hazel Dell.

I crept along carefully, until I could see further ahead and be assured there was no storm litter debris blocking the road … or any hefty widow-maker snapped/broken limbs hanging precariously from tree tops.

You never know, on backroads, what lies around the bend of the road: but Hazel Dell is a heavily traveled road, and all I saw were some evergreen branches down and pushed to the sides of the road – and a couple of pine cones. The road was safe to drive.

Hazel Dell.
Hazel Dell from Castle Rock; via WA-411 N, Delameter Road & Hazel Dell Rd - 9 mins.
Safeway Gas Terminal from Hazel Dell; via Hazel Dell Rd & Westside Highway - 18 mins.

Driving by Lake Sacajawea, on my way to top the gas tank off, I was hit with a migraine headache from the overpowering stench of the Mill, on Industrial Way. I filled the tank as quickly as I could and hit the backroad home.

I received a couple phone calls: two return calls, assuring me that their regions/counties had not been seriously hampered by the frizzled-out bomb that didn’t have the ‘pop’ strength the media talking heads were trying to scare people with (very good news) … and another from a friend in Naselle, who is coming into town tomorrow morning to take care of some business, and wants to meet at Stuffy’s for coffee and chit-chat.

Pacific Way Highway, from Safeway Gas terminal; via 30th Ave & Pacific Way - 6 mins.
General consensus was that the predicted “bomb” fizzled, and bombed out with a barely audible whisper.
Heron Pointe from Pacific Way Highway; via Pacific Way - 6 mins.

“Bombed Out” Slang: (https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bombed%20out)

All the media “cluster-bomb!” hysteria was about calimexarabia.

NEWS FLASH for the fearmonger’s: calimexarabia is not the entire PNW.

The folks here, were annoyed that the news mediums had put the ‘bomb storm’ across all {news} sources, as doomsday approaching. It was to pander to the demonrat sector of society pushing for climate change mandates.

It will be nice to enjoy some rational conversation with logical thinking people, tomorrow.

There will be no fearmongering hysterics.

There will be no delusional cono.

There will be shrill covid awkwardness.

There will just be hot coffee refills, laughter and companionship, friendship love/warmth of people - who know they are people; not animals - enjoying each other's company, again, after time apart.

That will be an enjoyable kickoff to a new day 😊

AND???

Lord deliver us from media hype whores; the PNW has gone through MUCH WORSE.

“And?”

I am so tired of the climate change political fearmongering bullshit.

People were buzzing like crazy; everywhere I went today.

50 mph winds?

Mass Psychosis – How An Entire Population Becomes Mentally Ill (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09maaUaRT4M)

Big deal – we’ve experienced much stronger, and have lived to pooh-pooh this bit of ridiculousness.

We know nature cycles in the renewal process.

We know life forms on Earth die – every day, from one thing or another: man cannot stop that cycle … no mater how much chest thumping, media screeching, or otherwise interferences (Ex: covid political hysterics and unwanted/unwarranted savior-complex attempts & climate change summits that are basically meaningless, except for ego stroking).

Earth will do what it is designed to do.

Some life forms on Earth will continue to die in that cycling of renewal.

Storms happen.

People get terminally sick.

Science - teamed with politics in a devil's dance, cannot change that.

The Columbus Day Storm was about 100 mph INLAND … Bob witnessed that one.

If people do not have a new fear pushed on them every month, they feel bored.

The Inauguration Day Storm was 75-85 mph INLAND: we both witnessed that one, along with our kids (we lived along the Columbia River, at that time) and could see white caps raised on the river that flowed past our windows ... and we watched the neighbor's 100+ evergreen being repeatedly slapped to the ground by the wind before it eventually uprooted and stayed down for the last count: all around us trees were being splintered in the neighborhood. Our trees remained in place.

The winter storm of 1995 – Alyna was 2 months old, at the time – caused flooding in WA & OR, and extensive damages up and down I-5, with Category 2 hurricane force winds that reached 90 mph INLAND. Bob and I both witnessed that one up close and personal … I was nearly blown away with the wind gusts; I grab onto our friend's carport support and hung on for dear life while my arms were wrenched, and my legs flew around like a rag doll being furiously tossed in dog’s teeth. Later I laughed and said “Whooie! That was exciting!” 😉 Bob wasn’t laughing. And, we were both worried about our daughter/her new husband, and our newborn granddaughter, who were living in Portland, at the time.

This media-hyped storm is just another demonrat ploy to fearmongering.

50 mph is a drop in the proverbial bucket: get a grip people!

I do not want to deal with fearmongering psychosis.

barak hussain obama says, “joe is ‘getting the job done’ – aka, obama’s totalitarian agenda (https://www.nytimes.com/2021/06/01/opinion/ezra-klein-podcast-barack-obama.html)

In this “new world” of the obamanites, fearmongering 24/7/365 is the key to obama’s N.W.O.

The obamanite fearmonger's preach “follow the science!” … but they blatantly ignore nature as Elohei designed it; and create their own science to fit their warped agenda – like the nazi’s did, and are continuing to do. We know that the scientific labs and collective “higher education” affiliates in America welcomed nazi “doctors” (insane, pathologically demented, {scientists}) with open arms - while turning away shiploads of Jews who truly needed American welcomes.

We are seeing the results of the nazi influences in today’s American culture: self worship as gods, whole-sale murder of the "undesirables", mind control, and total manipulation/enslavement of the weak-minded, hopelessness and depression on a scale never seen in this country before, violent overtake of cites and destruction of private property, government officials siezing power and stripping citizens of thier rights (National & personal), slavish government indoctrination in school and churches, government control of news sources, demnds the citizens bow to/praise governing officials, perverted scientific experiements on human guinea pigs, pitting family and friends against one another, neighborhood snitches, labels placed on people, skin-hair-eye color discrimination, an outward sign that a person has caved into governing officials demands - or has chosen not to (a free movement passport, or a yellow star on the clothing).

We know that china created a chemical weapon ... and released it on an unsuspecting world in a scientific experiment: covid. There is no cure for covid, regardless of the "scientific vaccine" being forced on the populaces.

A small, but seemingly elevated sector of society, is dominated by fear: they live, breathe, eat, and sleep fearful of every waking moment – yet, they do not turn off/turn away from the fearmongering talking heads …

I choose not to be domintaed by fear - real, or manipulated.

RAINY DAY ASPIRATIONS

I visited with friends this afternoon.

When I pulled out of the carport, a misty rain was falling; I got a latte at Mr. Bill’s ... and was asked for some more coffee mug cuffs. There are only three left of the nine I had dropped off on the 9th 😊

I had an enjoyable visit … and came home motivated: conversation had mainly been about adapting to newer life experiences.

I thought on that conversation all the way home; and by the time I had backed the Horizon neatly in place under my home carport, my mind was made up 😉

I have been procrastinating.

But, this afternoon, knowing a serious rain front was moving in … I knew today was the day to “get ‘er done!”

My Fall planting bulbs needed to be planted; which meant the planter pots needed drainage holes drilled into their undersides. The time was perfect to aspire to the task at hand.

I had bought the necessary tools weeks ago.

Last time David and I had breakfast together, he encouraged me to “just do it, Val” – and he was patient answering my clueless questions: even though he laughed occassionally. He is a true friend.

Hole Cutting Drill Bit; bought 15 days ago; I bought an electric hand drill, and a stud finder, about a month ago – to hang a mirror that is still tucked away, waiting to be hung ðŸ˜‰

I have been procrastinating.

It takes me a while to work up the nerve to try new things: I want to “get it right” the first time. So, I will research it to death, and ask my friends a lot of questions (and seek their input), before I actually get around to getting it done. Things take time with me.

Every time I looked at my hand drill, I would remember watching Bob using his heavy drills; and making it look so easy. But, when those memories tried to sabotage my nerve this afternoon, I countered back by reminding those memories that Bob did not exit his mother’s womb with a drill in hand … he had to learn the skill of using one.

Today, it was my turn to learn.

I can do this ...
I DID IT!

Giddy with success, I cut holes in the other six pots: transferred them to the carport patio, and got my bulbs planted 😊

The rains expected into next Friday, will water the planters well; and establish them for Spring blossoms.

5 square pots of staggered heights tulips - mixed variety, tete a tete daffodils, and puschkinia.
2 rectangular planters of Tete a tete miniature daffodils, & anemone.
The planters are being watered right now, by a soft, steady rainfall; the promising Spring color will be a welcome contrast against the ugly neighboring fenceline.

Now, I’m going to kick back in the recliner, and enjoy the warmth of the flickering fireplace.

And crochet/embellish another batch of coffee mug cuffs 😉

Fired up the fireplace this evening.
Working on more coffee mugs cuffs.
