Little things can make, or
break a day; my little things made my day 😊
While I’ve been papering my
ankle this past week, I finished another MOD Baby Receiving Blanket, and placed
it in the box with the previous finished one – and topped the box off with
packages of baby bottles.
Then I drove into town to
get the Highlander licensed … my ankle didn’t kick up too much of a fuss being
used – so, I decided to push the envelope, and drove out to Oak Point to visit
the friends that have been texting me all week asking when I’d be able to visit
with them: I did that, this afternoon 😉
And ended up staying for hours;
heading back homeward around 8 P.M. As I was nearing Cameron Creek, I spotted
the brightly lit Crown Princess Cruise Ship making her way back to Vancouver
B.C.
And nearing my backyard, I
spotted the Full Moon rising over Coal Creek …
When I got home, and inside
the house – I pulled the cheesecake out of the carry bag, that Lynn had sent
home with me: I love cheesecake; especially homemade cheesecake!
I ate a big piece 😊
After I finished the treat, I watched a Meg Foster movie – and started work on a preemie receiving sacque gown.
I’m glad my ankle behaved all day long.
I’m glad I was able to visit
with friends, again.
I’m
glad I pulled into the turnout along Ocean Beach Highway and watched that huge
passenger ship speed up the Columbia River.
I’m glad my eyes behaved as
I drove home – (((Thank YOU, Yeshua))).
I’m glad Lynn made a
cheesecake just for me.
I’m glad my hands are still
useful, and that I am still able to knit tiny things for tiny babies.

It really IS the
little things that make, or break a day 😊
What wonderful little things to be thankful for. Oh my, that pie is calling my name, LOL.
