MESSAGE IN THE WIND

I went to the Lexington Coffee Hour this morning.

I was awake very early (5 AM), so I had spare time to kill before 9 AM: so, I decided to cruise my Pinterest Page to see if I could find a Spring-themed pattern grid for a kitchen towel I was wanting to design when I got back home.

I found two patterns; and worked out grid dimensions before hopping in the car and jetting off. I settled on the hummingbird pattern for today’s towel 😊

I'm such a mess-cat; thankfully the marker inks came off with soap and water.

The gathering was enjoyable.

Several topics were touched on.

Some topics were studiously avoided (like politics); if brought up by anyone (not always me 😉), a brief reply was given, and the topic was changed. No one wanted to get angry today about a political nonsense.

Rabbit trails were entertained on occasion – two stuck out today: the timeframe for the opening of the Astoria-Meglar Bridge … one person said 1967: I said it had to be earlier than that because Bob was the second person to drive across (he was 16 at that time) it when it was opened to the public; and he graduated in 1967, a few weeks before his 18th birthday. Everyone (except me) grabbed their phones and spoke to the animated siri investigator, to get the actual date – the smug ones wanted to make sure I knew I was wrong. I was right 😊

The other thing was brought up after a comment led to someone else breaking out in a Monkees song (obviously I have connected with weirdos like myself 😉); and speculation of surviving Monkees. It was assumed they are all dead now. Everyone was wrong: Mickey Dolenz is still alive and kicking.

The Monkees – ‘Daydream Believer’ song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvqeSJlgaNk)

The Monkees – ‘Valleri’ song. This one made me laugh because no one can pronounce my Name, so they call me Valerie: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUZJy1RYz3U)

Mikey Dolenz (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKKRG7DNpwI)

I drove home from Lexington via the Hazel Dell road, and Delameter road. There is a crack across the road – with a bit of a slip breakage – on Coal Creek.

I also heard on the radio that the obamanite Supreme Court pick will be seated. Being seated is NOT a win; being seated is a political move, that is actually an illegitimate move. So, I turned the radio off. I couldn’t listen to ketaji brown’s racist acceptance speech; and biden’s whiney monotone makes my stomach turn.

Even though it’s obvious America is rapidly spiraling into the depths of Hell, it’s still surprising to me to realize the continuing depths of break with reality politicians and their devotees have slid.

Like I said many times before … politics in this new America, that is not recognizable … is depressing. And angering. I avoid depressing situations/circumstances; and I’m tired of always hovering on the cusp of angry.

Parking at home, the river winds were really kicking up; and raindrops were starting to fall.

Blossom blizzard; actual snow predicted over weekend.

Garden area weeding was not going to be happening.

The message on the wind is that snow will fall by Monday: I put the faucet cover back over the outside faucet.

So, while the wind outside was gustily blowing, and raindrops were slapping the window panes, I watched an old western movie; and got busy designing the kitchen towel I could already see finished in my mind’s eye 😉

Sad day for America will stretch into decades of unrest and chaos ...
Standing firm on my 2022 promise to myself.
Wind chimes are dancing in the rain: Bob liked wind chimes – his chimes still hang from the front porch support beam. I always smile when I hear them dancing.
Hummingbird image finished.

I’ll finish the towel tomorrow; it’s 1:45 AM, and I’m beat.

THE SUNSHINE OF LIFE

Roy Ayers – ‘Sunshine’ song:

Today was a perfect day to be outside 😊

The sun was shining warmly around 10 AM.

The air was still … which meant the pollen swirl would be low-key 😉

I could get outside to wash the car!

It was not warm enough yet to wear capris or shorts; and I didn’t want to wear my shinny-leg jeans because they’d be miserable on my legs when they got wet. So, I rummaged through my smaller jeans stash for a dark denim pair of jeans, and prayed I’d finally shed enough excess poundage to easily pull on/snap a size smaller pair of jeans (I’ve shed 15 pounds since December): (((YES!))) I actually had a peppy strut to my step today. LOL!

The exercises are working.

The Highlander was so filthy, I washed it twice  I counted that as a cardio workout ;-)

Now, I am not ashamed to have it seen on the road 😉

Of course, the places I drive to, will have it dusted out again in no time at all … but I’ll be able to wash it more frequently over the upcoming months.

While the car dried, I ate a quick lunch before driving into town to deposit Bob’s IWA love gift – I am thankful Bob provided this monetary care for me: it sure comes in handy with all the obamanite price hikes (across the board) that The People are being hit it with since obama’s useful idiot/biden was placed, to carry out barak hussain obama’s Destruction of American Agenda.

THANK YOU, BABE ~ OX

The provision is nice – and welcomed: but, I’d rather have Bob

I was on my way back home, when I received a phone call from friends; asking me to come for Supper. I haven’t seen these friends in a couple months, so I laughed, and said, “Okay: let me make a U-turn, and I’ll see you in 5”.

I was missing Bob a lot (April is the month Bob & I became US – a lifetime ago, that doesn’t seem so long ago to my heart), and suddenly Elohim was redirecting my thoughts and giving me a happy ending to my day 😊

I have a good God.

I have good friends.

We enjoyed 3 hours of good food, side-splitting laughter, and conversation; since we spent our youth/young adulthood in the same small town upriver, our convos eventually get around to the people we all know – and always Bob. It is good to remember Bob, and we always learn something new about Bob’s impact on our collective lives, that we hadn’t known before. But other memories of time spent in that small town upriver is not so welcome: Bob’s presence was what made that place so special – Bob is no longer here, and the memories (though good ones) no longer shine with a magical pull.

Patti LaBelle – ‘New Attitude’ song:

For my friends, the small town lost its pull on their heartstrings decades ago, when they pulled stakes and moved away without looking back.

For me, the Grim Reaper sucked all the magic out of those memories, three years ago. There’s nothing there for me anymore; I noticed when I drove through there last Thursday, that I don’t have any lingering warm feelings residue towards it: even my memories don’t want to revisit there anymore. Bob’s life was what livened up those years spent there – without his presence, it’s just another town on the map.

But for 3 hours this afternoon, we briefly allowed our thoughts to touch down there before reining them back in … and discussing the roots we are setting down here.

They have a good life here.

I have a good life here.

Life is good in this sunshine season of our lives  and we are embracing everything it has for us ðŸ˜Š

OOH LA-LA!

My eyes got a happy treat this afternoon when I collected the garbage and recycle bins from the streetside curb, after pick-up 😉

I noticed the short tulip with the variegated leaves, had blossomed – and it was a nice, sunny yellow 😊

Yellow with orange dots on inside of petals.
Bicolor striped leaves of the yellow-orange tulip.
A Pink Star tulip; a peony style tulip, with pale white stripes on inside of petals; Giant White Hyacinth also showing.

The anemones are coloring up, and setting blossom, too; they’re a little scraggly, but the weather here has been bipolar, and the warmth-loving bulbs have been getting the weather run-around: they simply don’t know how they should behave  they're struggling

Anemones are sprouting and beginning to blossom.
Various anemone hues.

I also noticed that the tallest tulip – the pink Apeldoorn, had spread it’s long, fat petals; significantly – exposing its heavily pollen-laden center to the buzzing bee’s delight! I carefully dodged the busy bee to loosely measure the spread 😉

WOW; this Pink Apeldoorn tulip really spread itself in the sunshine!
It's the same width in diameter, as my entire hand.
An impressive 7-inch spread ...

Back indoors I saw that a couple of the over-wintering geraniums set along the livingroom window sill, had also burst into bloom; I was happy to see that the salmon-colored one is thriving quite happily and enjoying the sunshine that manages to cut through the clouds.

Salmon blossoms on the Geraniums flourishing indoors.
This White Geranium has bloomed several times overwintering, indoors.

And out of the corner of my eye, as I was admiring the geraniums … I caught sight of a surprise tulip standing alone and daring Mother Nature’s wild tempest to abuse it in the blue Iris container outside, in the garden area. I was so surprised; I grabbed the camera and ran outside to get a picture of this unexpected sight. Bob, if he happened to be riding by on a cloud, was probably laughing at my actions, and the contemplative expression on my face 😉

I don't remember planting this at all - and it has never bloomed before, in this 10-yo-planted container.

Before I left the garden area and came back inside, I strolled along the lower end of the lot’s garden area, and saw that the Grape Hyacinths are growing a little too thick in the Apple Tree containers …

Grape Hyacinths in the Patio Apple planter ... the garden boxes need weeded; and the apple tree needs upended & repotted.
The prolific hyacinths need to be thinned.

… the lot and the garden boxes need a good weeding (dandelions are out of control); some of the garden box weeds have really sunk deep roots with all the rain lately, and they are growing so tall, they are pushing heavily against the netting covering the garden boxes against skulking neighborhood cats who want to make my garden boxes their personal dump sites.

God willing, the rain will back off enough over the weekend (and the bronchial infection will back down, too) so that I can get into my garden area and turn the soil over, rooting out the weeds and preparing the boxes for veggie transplants.

While I ate lunch and cruised today’s Blog Hops; I was pleasantly surprised again, when I noticed my post had been highlighted on the ‘Loops and Love Crochet’ Blog Hop. It makes me feel good when people enjoy my personal designs.

Every surprise today has been a good one 😊

THE ABDICATION OF HUMANITY

And the religion of {science} just keeps getting weirder.

Fungi Communicate Like Humans: https://www.theguardian.com/science/2022/apr/06/fungi-electrical-impulses-human-language-study

The demonrat take on humanity: (1) human babies are not humans, and should be murdered as soon as possible … even aborted in the 9th month (aka: left to die without nourishment, or human touch after birth) (2) dogs and cats deserve to be rescued, catered to, and celebrated more than human babies (3) the monkey family are humans (4) hippopotamuses are also humans (5) fungi is now classified as human.

It appears that science is erasing what it actually means to be ‘human’, just like they erased what it means to be a baby, or an actual female.

This is a scary place for America – and all of mankind – to be in: when science is dictating how humanity is viewed … and politicians are seating people in our highest Courts, that cannot knowledgably explain what constitutes human life, or womanhood, we as a Nation (and the world at large) is in serious trouble.

Genesis 2.7

Humanity is systematically being erased, and replaced with anything, and everything science dictates.

The Female species of humanity is systematically being erased, and replaced with mentally-ill males who get breast implants, and think they are females ... with penises!

jenner has a break from reality, and hellery screams, “remember the 60’s!” … and people, living like animals, trip all over themselves walking on the wild side pretending to be something they are not - and can never be.

It is a dangerous thing that scientists are doing in promoting their whacky religion.

darwinism is a bold-faced lie. And why are black people allowing that humanity “began in Africa, with the first primate humanoid”???? That is just straight-up racism … and was the foundation stone of slavery (which was utilized by muslim slavers to sell African black people into worldwide slavery: slavery was never a ‘white’ thing – it began in Africa and was widely promoted by muslims. It still is, today).

Egyptians employed slaves; primarily Hebrew slaves, that they never intended to set free. Romans employed slaves (and bondservants) of every ethnic group – slaves were lifelong {holdings}; bondservants were contracted to work off their debts before being cut loose to become freemen again. Britain employed slaves of both black and caucasian backgrounds – primarily poor Irish ‘bondservants’, both in England and American colonies; who would never be able to get out from under British economic thumbscrews. Native American Indians employed slaves of various competitive tribes they warred with; and Mexican tribes also employed slaves of the competitive tribes they conquere3d and lorded over.

Slavery is not a new thing: it certainly is not a white supremacy thing (white is not an actual skin color; much less an actual mindset), as History bears the fact out that slaves were of every skin color, nationality, and religious persuasion on the face of the Earth. The {woke} brainwashing that is taking place in America today, is a direct result of barak hussain obama’s muslim heritage, and his racist political views: it is evil in concept, and wicked in practice. It’s nothing new; it goes back to the muslim mindset concerning world dominance, and the practice of dehumanizing anyone and everyone a muslim decides to conquer/suppress. The obamanites have set their eyes on America, and are determined to replace America with ‘amerika’, and to demonize Americans by shifting the blame of their unscrupulous actions onto the American People – it’s an old practice seeped in Egyptian and Arabic traditions of an unrealistic religious worldview.

But, darwinism is a fairly new thing … and every time there is a demonrat in the White House, with an iron-grip on American politics, the religion of darwinism, and the doctrine of jane goodall, rises up out of its murky depth of fantastical science sludge to spread its toxicity.

A Chimpanzee Vaccine being Used To Combat Covid: https://www.research.ox.ac.uk/article/2020-07-19-the-oxford-covid-19-vaccine

Chimpanzee Poop Being Used In Covid Vaccines: https://weather.com/en-IN/india/coronavirus/news/2021-04-05-chimpanzee-poop-is-helping-prevent-covid-19-among-humans

The fact that science has already pigeon-holed humanity as non-humans … and is treating covid outbreaks among babies, toddlers, K-3rd Grade, and the elderly with veterinary tactics should be alarming!

PEOPLE ARE NOT ANIMALS – and visa versa.

But back to the topic of mushrooms: I wonder what vegans will do now that mushrooms have been equated with human status. They don’t eat meat because “it wears a face”: will they now denounce eating mushrooms, because “they scream when cut”?

Mushrooms are good food; I will continue to slice, dice, and eat mushrooms.

Fungi – A Species of Human: https://www.newsweek.com/fungi-language-communication-talk-similar-humans-1695146

What will people be eating if animals, plants, and fungi are off limits because they are considered human. Will actual human beings be fearing for their lives when hunger supersedes food deprivation?

How far is the world populace going to allow science to go, before they finally snap out of the brainwashing scientific stupor and say, “enough is enough!
