THOUSAND ISLAND SALAD DRESSING


I bought a Chef’s Salad yesterday while in town and decided to have it for lunch this afternoon, so I gathered all the ingredients needed to make homemade Thousand Island Salad dressing ;-)


I like making my own salad dressings – they taste richer and a lot better than what you can buy in the stores. This recipe comes from my Weight Watcher’s 365-Day Menu Cookbook.

1 cup plain unflavored Yoghurt * ¼ cup reduced calorie-Ketchup * 1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon minced Pickle * 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise * ½ teaspoon prepared Horseradish * ¼ teaspoon Dijon Mustard * Dash EA Salt & Teriyaki Sauce

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Chill.
