I am going to be posting Scripture – chapter & verse - to my Page every Thursday in preparation for the Sabbath Rest which begins on Friday: if that offends anyone, feel free to leave: no hard feelings.

I am a Messianic Christian. I am an Evangelist. 40 years ago I was called to verbally get The Word out; as a Christian since 1966, it is my DUTY to ‘spread the Good News’. I do not push The Gospel on people, but I DO talk about my God, my Lord, and my Savior every day; every hour of the day: if anyone doesn’t want to listen, or is offended to the point of violent anger, they can walk away. This is MY Page and I speak my mind on it. In any and ALL cases Elohei is a major part of my life and on my mind 24/7/360; and I speak (or write/type) as the Ruach moves me to speak, write or type.

When Yeshua walked this earth and spoke to the masses of people in public and they were offended, He simply walked away. I do that too. However, this is my Blog, and this Page is MY space; and here I do not walk away … I speak freely, and I speak openly. YOU are free to listen … or to leave.

THE GOSPEL ACCORDNG TO MATTHEW

Chapter 2: When Yeshua was born in Bethlehem, in Judea, there came to Jerusalem from the East, Wise Men, who began to ask, ‘Where is He Who was born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the East and have come to worship Him’.

When king Herod heard this, he was frightened, and all Jerusalem with him. So he assembled all the chief priests and scribes and wanted to know of them where the Christ was to be born. They told him, “In Bethlehem, in Judea, for so it has been recorded by the prophet: ‘And you, Bethlehem in Judah, are by no means least among the princes of Judah; for out of you shall come forth a Leader Who shall be like a shepherd of My People Israel’” (Michah5:2). Herod then secretly called in the Wise Men and wanted them to tell him the exact time in which the star had appeared. After that, he sent them on to Bethlehem, saying, ‘Go! Find out all you can about the Child, and then when you have found Him, bring word back to me so that I, too, may go and worship Him’.

And they, having heard the king’s wishes, went on their way. And lo! The tar that they had seen in the East went before them till it came to the place where the Child was, and stood over it. The Wise Men, watching the star, were filled with great joy. They went into the house and found the Child with Mariam, His earth mother. They fell down and worshipped Him. They opened their treasures and gave Him gifts – gold, incense, and fragrant myrrh. Then, forewarned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they left for their country by another way. Hardly had they departed when an angel of Adonai appeared in a dream to Yosef, and said, “Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt. And stay there till I call you, for Herod is about to seek the Child, to destroy Him. He got up, took the Child and His mother, and left that night for Egypt. There he remained till Herod’s death, in fulfillment of Adonai’s words by the prophet, who said, ‘Our of Egypt I called My Son’ (Hosea 11:1).

When Herod saw that the Wise Men had made a fool of him, he was greatly enraged, and sent men to put to death all the little boys in Bethlehem and the whole neighborhood who were 2 years old and under, based on the time which, through careful inquiry, he had learned from the Wise men. Then were fulfilled the words of the prophet Jeremiah, who had said, ‘A voice was heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning; Rachel, bewailing her children and would not be comforted, because they were dead’ (Jeremiah 31:15).

Then when Herod died, an angel of Adonai came to Yosef in Egypt in a dream. He said, “Get up! Take the Child and His mother and go back to the land of Israel, for those who were seeking the Child’s life have died”. So he arose, took the Child and His mother, and set out for the land of Israel. But when he heard that Archelaus had succeeded his father, Herod, as king in Judea, he was afraid to go there. Adonai told him in a dream what to do. This he did; he withdrew to the region of Galilee. Having come there, he settled down in a town named Nazareth, thus fulfilling the word of the prophets that He should be called a Nazarene (Isaiah 11:1; Jeremiah 23:5; Zechariah 3:8 & 6:12 – from Nezer, Hebrew word for Branch).

In response to the modern concept that Yeshua and His earth family were {refugees in Egypt}, let me make clear that Yeshua IS CREATOR (Genesis 1:1; John 1:3 & 10; 1 Corinthians 8:6 and Colossians 1:16) as well as Ben Elohei (Son of God: Matthew 16:15-17), as well as 1/3 of the triune Godhead (Matthew 28:19). Therefore it is ridiculous to think that He could be a refugee anywhere … the whole earth belongs to Him! When one owns, they are not squatters.

Today’s Church is dumbed down and anorexic; and it’s spiritually dead & Scripturally ignorant/arrogant worldly minded leadership is dangerous because it is feeding them a starvation diet lacking in reality and meaty matter. A healthy diet balanced in the correct understanding and application of Scripture it vital to the maturing of/strength of Christian growth and l.i.f.e. To grow properly one must be fed healthy food (The Word) that aides in the maturity of the Spiritual as well as physical being. That is NOT happening in America’s Church today – I am speaking of the spiritual as well as concerning the building. America’s Church today is in sad need of repair – in all regards. America’s Church came under attack in the 1950’s and was seriously damaged in the 1960’s … shell-shocked in the 1970’s, hopelessly hypnotized by the enemy’s strobe lights in the 1980s, wandered into the choking weeds in the 1990’s, and is unsuspicious dimwitted prey for the ravenous wolves in the 2000’s. In short, the Church today is unrecognizable to Yeshua ... and to me.

Just as loud raucous music and substance abuse was used in Vietnam to disorient and keep the enemy off balance, so is concert style rock and roll music and pharmaceutical meds/medicinal weed used in churches today (people that gather together talk more about their ailments/'addictions' and doctors/self-help-programs than they do about Yeshua and His healing!) – people attend churches now for the loud music and the vegetarian food … not for a close and abiding relationship that Yeshua exampled and talked about, or for fellowship the way it was intended, or as Yeshua taught. The leadership today is the modern day Pharisee and Sadducee order that Yeshua spoke against, and the attendees to their buildings are equated to the self-righteous and pious Jews that cried out against Yeshua, and ultimately for his blood: blinded by their own narcissism and socialized world-view.

The Church today is too stupid to realize that it is itself poor and needy ...  because it believes its Savior is a refugee with no rights and no kingdom!

Time to ((((WAKE UP!)))) sleepers. The wolves are surrounding you and closing in for the kill.
