3 BIGGIES~RV Tax Info-Century Link Payoff-Soltero's

May 31st: Another busy & spendy day unfolding.

Tax was figured out and taken care of, right off the bat: we want the RV tagged asap: Friday looks like Tag Day ;-)

Holland got right on the RV Tax thing this morning: it looks like we'll be making another drive to Astoria, Friday.

Then, he tackled Century Link: we've been trying to pay them FOR MONTHS … and more so, now that we are no longer using their service. There are no local offices, and no mailing address - so, the only way to have contact with them is when they decide to contact you: they finally want their $$$ due - they contacted us, and gave us a phone number to call. 

IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME!

And Century Link was paid off & canceled - we're glad it's finally settled.

We also needed to go into Longview for a printer/copier/fax machine (the fax aspect will help Holland with his medical updates while on the road); so, we took the 2 propane tanks to get filled, too.

Filled both propane tanks at Western World, on Industrial Way-LV.

And then we spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying our {US time}, chilling and relaxing. This time was the most important time carved out of the day :-)

I'm glad Holland is being a stickler about it ;-)

And I'm glad we spent it at our favorite "eats spot".

Holland got the 'Tricolor Enchiladas - and added salsa. LOL

I got the Monterey & Asada - the prawns were marinated in a special sauce before wrapped in bacon. YUMMY!

Both of us fat and sassy - and yawning deeply; we hauled the big, chunky, box inside the RV when we got back home … and it will rest on the floor, until we get to it, tomorrow.

Printer-Copier-Faxer … ALL important for life on the road; this will be set up, tomorrow.

REBEL TUESDAY2 Continued~The Jesse James Home Museum

Jesse never considered himself a killer; one has to wade through the myths … and the History of the era to find a shred of truth in the Legend.

MAY 11th: We left the Pony Express Museum, and drove about a block down the street to visit Jesse James's House - which had been relocated; and is now a museum.

A Victorian Outhouse had also been placed onsite … and a little cemetery had also been relocated to be placed outside the house/museum: so, this was more than a Jesse James thing.

But, we enjoyed the walk-through/the history/visiting with the man behind the counter (who was full of James Family information); and before we left the building, Holland and I both bought bullet mementoes to slip onto our key rings ;-)

After leaving the Jesse James Home Museum, we pointed Betsy's nose towards Utah; working our way back to the PNW, where we both have appointments to make.

Next stop.

We left Bleu in his kennel curbside, for our walk through.

Leaving Missouri, we punched in direction to Utah through the lower edge of Colorado … and GPS threw a rebellious snit, pointing us towards Topeka, Kansas: refusing to obey our directions, no matter how we redirected her. So, we just decided to go with the flow (we're in no hurry, and we are still Honeymooner's determined to relax and enjoy the moment 😉).

Holland said, "I guess we're going to Kansas - is there anything to see in Kansas?" I said, "I don't know - let me check." We decided to visit the Evel Knievel Museum - we had been talking about his antics just the day before, so we were excited to see his stuff: especially his famous motorcycles 😁
