4 OUT OF 8 TYPES OF COFFEE COFFEE'S TODAY

Today was a coffee-fueled day 😉

It didn’t start out that way – and I was surprised that the day progressed as it did. My ankle still smarts, so out-of-house activities have been scrapped until next weekendbut plenty got accomplished today, here, at home 😊

Things started out innocently – I logged into my FB Account for a quick peek at what friends and family are up to today … and thought I’d update my account while online. I was surprised to see {death wishes} are now a FB {thing}: so, I updated, while drinking my first cup of coffee.

Death Wish for FB Account ...

Then I had another cup of joy-juice, visited with a Graysriver friend via Messenger; and washed my hair. Contemplating another no-fuss day at home, I sorted through my closet for something low-key and comfortable – and spied Bob’s walking cane in the back of the closet; so, I hauled it out, dusted it off, and figured to put it to use today: not anything strenuous, just keeping low-key mobile while house-bound.

I scaled Bob's adjustable walking Cane back to fit my height; Bob was 6’2” … I am 5’2”. The color works for me, too - THANKS BABE ðŸ˜Š

My aching ankle felt relief 😊

So much so, that I figured a little ‘light-weight’ activity around the house wouldn’t set the healing back too much 😉

A few more cups of Pumpkin Spice flavored coffees … and color was greeting my eyes everywhere they looked:

I finally got the Indian Corn out of storage and placed in the kitchen for Fall color; first time it's been hung since we moved in, in 2017. I'm not so grief-paralyzed anymore.
The Cornucopia arrangement was switched out to herald the arrival of Fall ...
And the corner stand I got at a Garage Sale last Summer, is finally in place; not much on it, yet, but at least it's where I intended it to be when I bought it.

I could have used Bob’s muscle so as not to have to manhandle the corner stand – but Bob’s muscle isn’t available anymore; so, I relied on sheer willpower and his cane 😉

And by the grace of Elohim, it got done 😊

Then another cup of go-juice, and the final Fall touches were done – hey, I gotta do this stuff while I’m stuck at home, because most days I’m out of house by noon … and gone most of daylight hours.

Fireplace mantle sprinkled with Fall leaves.
Windows got splashed with sprays of Fall color, too.
My 'cozy spot' when the evening chill sets in ...

I didn’t do much, so I wasn’t on my feet long (and I’d paced the activity with periodic coffee breaks); when I finally called it ‘a day’ with the coffee and busy activity – I settled in cozily to enjoy a couple Barbara Stanwyck movies {October Movies; remember, I’m on October-themed movies and songs this month}: this afternoon, I watched The Night Walker 1964 & The House That Would Not Die 1972. I like Barbara Stanwyck movies (a little cheesy, but not gory), and these fit the month 😉

While watching the movie, I also worked some more rows on MOD Baby Receiving Blanket; it’s 3/4ths of the way worked, now.

Only 76 more rows; this won't be done tonight ...

I’ll finish up the evening by relaxing to the backbeat of soft music, and reading as much as I can of the novel (an ‘October’ type of read), I started a few days ago 😊

Settling in for a quiet night.
A little over two-thirds of the book read; I only 142 pages left.
