HAPPY

I spent six hours this afternoon with Mr. Complication. Just talking.

I turned down spending Thanksgiving Supper with his family, again, too. I’m not ready to “meet the family” yet.

I {drove home} to him the facts of my complicated life (widowhood emotions/complications; kids, grandkids - he claims he's okay with all of it)… and said, “now it’s your turn: spill. Tell me about yourself.”

And he did. More things I have talked to Elohim about (concerning a companion), were revealed. All positives 😊

Neither of us needs the opposite sex to ‘complete’ us (as some people seem to think they do; always needing to have someone hanging off their arm to show off. Always on the prowl), as we’ve both been able to live happy and satisfactory lives solo lobo – but it is nice to share our daily life ins-and-outs with another 😉

It's good to know that when we open our lives to the possibility of sharing it with someone else, that person is already happy with their own life, and isn’t looking to you to supply all happiness in their life. Sharing happiness is goodbeing expected to be a never-ending source of happiness in a life that is lacking happiness is another thing altogether.

This man wanting to be a part of my life is a happy person: I feel no pressure at all to be his all-in-all; no matter how this developing {thing} plays out.

18 Signs That You Just Might Be HAPPY

15. You do not let fear stop you from pursing your dreams or goals

16. You are happy by yourself and enjoy your own company

17. You know how to reach out and ask for help

18. You have strong values

Before I left for home, he actually used the L Word, saying, “I love you. I know you’re fragile right now. I’m not going anywhere; I’ll wait.”

I know I’ve healed a LOT over these past 4 years. I know I have prayed (and spoken aloud to friends about …) for the past 18 months for a companion to have conversations with, to do things with, to go places with: I have room in my new life to make room for a companion … I just don’t know about the L Word.

I know I am comfortable with him, and the few members of his family I already know; and spend time with.

I know this man makes me laugh: he has a good sense of humor, and an upbeat outlook on life in general.

I know this man is self-sufficient: he doesn’t need anyone to take care of him.

I know this man is a kind, gentle, and compassionate person: he walks his talk.

I know this man – like me – puts God first, in his life: that is a BIG PLUS in his favor. He totally {gets} that Elohei will always be first and foremost in my life. We understand each other in that regard.

I am primarily interested in a platonic relationship: will this man be content with that, if this {thing} moves forward?

I have a lot to think about.

I have a lot to pray about.

I have a lot to seek Elohim’s wisdom on.

In the meantime, I’m going to continue working on myself, while waiting for revelations to manifest themselves to me clearly 😊

I have a feeling 2023 is going to be an interesting year 😉
