WHAT ARE WE BUSY ABOUT

Holland drove into Rainier this morning to get the pickup windows tinted - and he was also able to get the running boards on :-)

I stayed home with Bleu.

Holland's text from Rainier.

We are busy about getting everything accomplished for our road gypsy life before leaving the PNW. This is taking longer than anticipated due to scheduling's.

I think I am the most impatient of the two of us.

I'm 66-1/2 … I don't have a whole lot of time to sit around waiting for other people to 'get with the program'.

This white bird wants to spread her wings, and fly!

Holland was back home around noon … and couldn't wait to show me what had been done to the pickup, in prep for our southern states adventures :-)

Sun Visor Shade Strip; front windows were darkened as legally dark as possible.
Back window & 2 side windows are black tinted - 'limousine black'; we can see out, but no one can see in.
Exterior 'limousine black'.
Running Boards for my short legs - THANK YOU, HUSBAND.

Then, he jumped on the phone and called his doctor's office for an appointment asap, to talk to her about his pain meds - he wants off them as quickly as possible … and he doesn't want to be driving back here every two months to deal with distribution nonsense (there is no logical reason why they cannot be mailed to him at any pharmacy in the USA!).

And he rigged the sewer drain 'Y'; now things will be easier in that aspect.

Sewer Hose 'Y' to hook both bathrooms to one drain; no more running back and forth.

Little, by little, things are coming together :-)

And that's a good thing, because around Supper time the Park Owner knocked on our front door and made a big issue out of Bleu doing his business on the grass we have bought for a  month: she wants me to start taking him into the woods out back, to do his daily business :-(

Holland immediately said"No - that is not going to be happening; you are not going to be hiking into the woods at night."

I have 4 packages of 5 ct. doggie-bags, and a handy-dandy-pooper-scooper; that I use to clean up after him - but she doesn't want him using the grass at all.

So, we may be pulling stakes here and finding another place to park, where the host is not ridiculous. I mean … there are piles of rabbit poop everywhere, and she's making a big deal out of a small dog (the rabbit poop is never scooped up - and we are expected to walk around those piles!).

She even went so far as to suggest we feed our dog "something not so rich, so he doesn't poop so much."

That is not okay.

Her 250 rabbits, rooster, and donkey are pooping nonstop … all over the place!!! We are in a country farm setting, for Pete's sake - and we like that. But her attitude tonight was ridiculous.

Rabbit poop carries toxins that can harm dogs; I'm always leading Bleu away form the acidic pebbly piles, which are easy to spot because the grass is brown where rabbits have relieved themselves.

Holland saw my eyes get smoky while she was yapping - and after she left, he said, "I'm proud of you, Baby." I was proud of me: I didn't say a single word out loud, but my eyes were shooting sparks.

Until tonight, we thought everything was going well here - despite her german shepherds going berserk every night, around midnight.

We paid her $900 for 5 weeks of her space … not for her manic opinions. We agreed to 99% of her rigid rules, but we cannot demand Bleu hold his urine or poop for the next 4 weeks; and Holland is not going to let me traipse into the woods after sundown.

It's a ridiculous request.

We need to be boondocking a.s.a.p.

If not for the doctor appts., we wouldn't even be dealing with people; we'd be off in the wild someplace detoxing from people in general.
